Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Looks like Select is leading the warranty game. I have known several people in the neighborhood who has issues with their home warranty provider. I, on the other hand, has no, as in 0 negative experience with Select. Yes they are not flawless, well nobody’s perfect, but they makes sure that they give their all in meeting their clients’ expectations. I have had several positive experiences with them and I intend to add more years with them.

Rose and Arthur did an awesome job in handling my claim the other day. Rose is the phone rep who called me after I submitted the claim online. The claim is about my microwave oven’s door not closing properly. She coordinated the issue with Arthur the local repair man right away. Arthur did check the unit and after half an hour he was able to fix the door. He was explaining as he repairs the unit. Im glad that they were able to help me get the microwave back up and running.

We started with Select in March 2018. In June we had a new thermostat installed. It didn't read our hvac system. Called Select and they had a Hvac company out the same day. He told us that we need a new system which be be $12,500. I called for a second opinion from another company which explained that the thermostat was the issue. Last week week had our drain waste pipe crack. Call again Monday and someone was out Tuesday. They asked me to cut the drywall and take pictures so I could text over to them. I did! Got the best team when it comes to taking care of my appliances at home. I signed up for Select’s Gold plan as I want to make sure that I have everything covered. I am not good in house maintenance as I am an office girl. I am somehow dependent with my insurance and with my warranty company. Good thing Select has people that I can call everytime I have problems with my home systems. I have even added them in my phone’s speed dial. Just a single call and I have them at my doorstep ready to help.

Doing the right thing even if no one is looking is integrity. I was able to work with James, Select’s repairman, when I had issues with my sink. While he’s checking the problem, I got a call from my husband stating that he can’t pick my son at the school due to some emergency meetings. So without even thinking, I told James that I will leave him first to get my son and be back in less than an hour. When I get back, James is still in the premise waiting. The sink problem was fixed and he already cleaned up his mess. I thank you James for your integrity!

The staff is friendly and helpful. I had a couple of questions after just purchasing my policy, and someone called me right back, and I mean in a matter of minutes. What a pleasant experience!

As I searched for a replacement warranty plan on the internet, I came across Select Home. Select home has a very fair price for coverage offered. Not only was the contract price much lower, so was the deductible! Additionally, I am getting two extra months just by prepaying the year. That’s just slightly above a 50% savings overall for a peace of mind. Highly recommend.
