My daughter noticed a leak under our hot water heater on a Wednesday Night. I called the 24-hr. number for service from Select Home to get a plumbing technician out to look at my house. Michelle was very professional and polite. She made sure to get someone come out early morning. The guy came out the next morning, did his diagnosis and the leak was gone after 30 minutes. Efficient repair from Select Home Warranty.
Brad Stevens was very knowledgable about the warranty packages and found the right one for me without breaking the bank. He willingly and was able to answer all of my questions!
Adam was very helpful and explained all of the options I was interested in and the different payment plans and costs.
I’ve had SHW since Aug 2017 (9 months) since moving to our new house. I called over two weeks ago to file a claim for our AC. They said it would take 24 to 48 hours for a repairman in my area to contact me to take my claim. I got an email a few hours later, the email said the repairman should be contacting me in the next 12 hours but if they hadn’t called in 24 hours to call the repairman. I called at the 24 hours mark, the repairman didn’t answer, left a massage. He didn’t return my call so I called SHW, they got him on the phone right away. I have been a loyal customer of Select Home for several years now. Since day 1 they have been consistent in providing prompt response to my service needs. I appreciate that as they serve more and more clients all over United States, they try their best to improve and work harder than ever to meet our needs. This is the reason why I stayed for years because I know that Select will always be there for me. Highly recommended.
I paid $499.00 for a one-year contract. I submitted a claim for $297.85. I ordered the part on line and had an appliance repair service fix the dryer. It was a lengthy process for the top and front of the dryer had to be taken apart to insert the part inside of the dryer, the wiring fixed and everything put back together. I submitted the claim three times over two months. I had to also send a copy of my bank statement showing where I paid for the part. This company is trying to short me $150.00. This includes $75.00 they claim is for a service call that they did not make. I made 6 calls in reference to why there was a delay in the payment. I got a constant run around from them,... Read More
This is the worst company; I believe this is a fraud for the consumer. I have a contract with them and I tried to use for the first time because my water heater was leaking, I submitted the request. Never contacted me so I called and after 15 minutes waiting, I heard a person who said that they did not contact me because They don’t cover water heater leaking. They told me to read the contract the second page 6.27 very small letters where they have all the exclusions and inclusions I asked them why those exclusions/inclusions where so small that we can’t read. Let me just say Select Home Warranty SUCKS! I am always fair when reviewing a company. Do not believe anything they claim to include on their website! I took a great deal of time trying to select a reputable home warranty company and even with my research and due diligence I failed miserably. They cover NOTHING except for clearing a drain. My microwave went out. I called to put in a claim only for them to tell me that because my microwave was old they would only give me $50 towards it. So, we bit the bullet on that one and just bought a new one and paid for it to get installed. I sent in my receipt to get reimbursed for the $50 and NEVER received it. After looking through the... I recently purchased my Platinum Plan with Select Home Warranty. I decided to get this plan as it covers all my appliances. After 3 months I had my air conditioning freezing up. I called Select and they gave me a prompt service more than satisfaction. The technician who came out for inspection was very friendly and knowledgeable. I always have been considering getting another premium coverage for my new home. Quality service at a very affordable plan.
I got a broken pipe that needs immediate attention. I called Select Home and request to fix it. The support processed my claim in just minutes and was able to dispatch someone in less than 24 hours. The service was very satisfactory and amazing. I will definitely recommend Select Home Warranty to my friends and family. They continue to improve on a day to day basis in order to offer better services. Nothing is more satisfying when you are getting what you paid for.
