Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I found Select Home Warranty online. I have read good reviews and terrible reviews. Both were important with me deciding whether to get a plan from them. So I asked my friends their recommendations. I heard from one of my friends say that they are affordable and that she has been with them for the past five years. They have their ups and downs but what made decide to go with them is that this friend of mine has 2 kids and SHW sent out a contractor to help them during the coldest snowy day of the year. That is what I am looking for, a dependable company and it does not matter what day of the year. They will support their customers.

I was sorely disappointed with my past home warranty company. A home warranty should get work orders done on a timely manner and should not just be ripping off their customers with their money. They should have out rightly informed their customers what is and what is not covered on the plan they took. I am thankful that I found Select Home Warranty; so far I have not experienced with them what I have experienced from my former home warranty companies.

employs dirty business tactics. I called them to make a claim. I called and told them I had a shower stoppage and bathtub stoppage in 2 different bathrooms. Select Home Warranty put them on one claim number instead of giving me 2 claim numbers even though I was perfectly clear that there were 2 stoppages in 2 different bathrooms. They did this so that now when I am trying to get them to pay what they said they approved there are loop holes so they can pay less. Then they were unable to find a technician in their network to come do the work so they said I could find my own technician. The best part of having a home warranty policy is Security.A Company that you can depend on and is willing to help you when you needed assistance. I have Select Home for the past 3 years and so far happy with how they took care of all my claims. I never had any issues with filing claims and working with their contractors was good. Select has been consistent in the past years providing nothing but quality services. Great experience with Select Home.

The very first claim I had was way back 2015 and back then the process used to be the contractor will call you to confirm the appointment. I am pleased that the services have been more accessible and convenient to homeowners like me. You can now file a claim in just minutes and will get an email with the contractor’s details right away. SHW was prompt and efficient in their internal process and so the results are great.

We had Select Home Warranty several years ago and found them to be easy to deal with. They handled the only claim we had very quickly and with total satisfaction. They were very professional and very respectful while helping us come to an easy and quick purchase of another home warranty.

I’ve worked so hard to buy multiple properties. I have 4 different rental properties and all of them were with Select Home Warranty. I am happy that this company is continually improving. Being able to place a claim online allows my tenant to get prompt response when they need service repairs. I have heard good feedbacks from them that all contractors who came out were extremely good. I would use Select Home for the coming years and for the future properties I will have.
