Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Goodness gracious what a mess i had! The sprinkler system pipe cracked making a mess. I called up right away after I turned off the main water line. SHW took my call seriously and had a repair main replace the pipe the following day GREAT!

Seriously run away from this company. They have every out you could possibly think of to not cover any item. My water heater that went started leaking because that's what water heaters do? Yeah they don't cover leaks. They suggest to replace the water heater myself...So the number one thing that happens to an old water heater, they don't cover it with the home warranty?? Also my motor went out on my garage door opener. They said I had to pay the contractor to replace it and the max they would reimburse me was $150 on a $350 bill, which it took 2 months to get a check from them. The whole point of the warranty is so I don't have to pay this stuff out of my pocket!!! What a scam of a... Read More

I have had nothing but trouble since the day I bought this stupid range from home depot. It had problems before the manufacturer warranty and after too. Finally Select was gracious enough just to cut me a check for $150 for another. It isn't that much but it helps.

After 2 experiences this newest one was one to write home about. They somehow were able to get me a chimney sweeper the same day and the work was marvelous! I stick with Select!

Genius Roofers gets a huge thumbs up for fixing a chronic roof leak I have been having on and off again for a year. Clean, reliable and everything I had hoped for with my warranty.

Now with this second repair done I consider this a bargain option for house appliance problems. The price is cheap and the work on smaller items like my microwave and dryer cut overall home costs.

More times then not i have found myself calling just to ask questions on things in my home. I am a new house owner and they have come down on one occasion to fix a flickering light and I love the confidence they have given me in being a homeowner.

I submitted a claim on my range that the control board had gone out. They contacted an appliance repair in my area and they came out the next day,12/27/17. They sent an estimate for the repair of about $350. I heard nothing else until I called the repair people. they said select home warranty was supposed to call me. I called them on 1/8/18 and sent them an email on 1/29 when I still hadn't heard from them On 2/1 I got an email telling me someone would call in 24/48 hours. I got a call from a lady that said they would pay $159 for the part but 0 for the installation, since installation was excluded by the contract. Our scheduled appointment was late by 2 hours! The work was done very well and he tested the roof making sure that the spot he patched was not leaking anymore.
