Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

My wife and i started a warranty platinum care package when i was just tired of all these contractors charging me through the roof nickle and diming me at every corner. My heat went out on 11/15 and there was a service representative available at a really late hour to take my call and schedule a repair. She was very quick and she gave me a time window of the next afternoon. Suffice to say great plumber and great experience.

They lie to customers. Suppose to pay Me for microwave full but they said they reimburse me $95.00 for I said ok. Know they not even paying me my reimburse amount to prove I have email from them. When I was getting the insurance the said they will cover everything means ever when I called them for faucet they like we don't cover that. Plz don't get there service they are horrible.

4/5 of my service requests were done very favorbly. The one situation that was not good is the contractor for the roof and how he left debree and had to come back to clean his mess after I complained. my other requests were on time and explained lots of details of what had to be done and repaired.

I have a hot pool in my backyard that had some damage during the hurricance in the summers end. SHW covered the repairs and had a pool specialist to me in a week. He saw where the motor got damaged and replaced it. Excellent work.

I love ice coffee and make it every morning. a month ago the ice stopped being made and the water was barely coming out. Called claims and they setup a ticket for me and I was able to track it online. 36 hours I had to wait for a return call with an appointment for the next day. The appliance repairer was a little late and apologized profusely. He wa quiet and calm while I watched him work. The hose in the back got carroted and needed replacing because water was not going through said hose. Quality job and appreciate it.

I love Select Home Warranty! I paid $400 for my warranty and my claim on 11/15, was for a broken garbage disposal. Today I received a check for a brand new replacement unit! What a great investment!

Water heater, I have no idea why it decided to go out in this cold weather. I am very glad that the call I made to claims was taken seriously and getting a plumber only took one day. It was a team of 3 people that came and they worked a couple hours to get installation of a new water heater installed.

My plumber came 30 minutes later than expected. I will forgive it though because he called me and told me he was having auto issues. When he came he did repairs and cleaned his mess that he left on the floor before leaving.

Some of my calls to service ended with me needing call backs because the service members did not have the correct answers to my questions. In these situations I receive call backs from more knowledgeable people. When they can't help me they setup claim appointments and so far all have those been satisfactory for me.

I purchased a warranty in the summer time thinking that my Air unit had a clicking noise and if it broke I would be in big trouble. It turns out the noise went away and i had this platinum plan and felt like I didn't need it. Last week my heat didn't come on and the warranty also covered that. Someone came out and did the repairs. I expected to use this for one thing and then in the end for another so I change my mind and am happy with my purchase.
