My family was worried and of course so was I when the heat in the radiator went out in the basement family room. Select created a quick claim and made a priority plumber come out in 2 days. They emptied a blockage in the pipe and the heat started chugging along again. Very happy with the service request.
I just finished a fantastic situation with Select Home Warranty where my garage door wouldn't open. I feel very blessed that the technician got approval to install a brand new door! I certainly recommend them to my friends when I see them.
It's been 8 months and I have only gotten a system cleaning out of my warranty. It was a nice experience and I hope they continue to stand by my warranty plan. I pay on a monthly basis so the cost has been not very high on a gold plan.
I am very busy with work and I needed some protection for when I need someone to deal with problems. I feel safe and protected with my warranty plan and I had two calls and one actual repair claim made. They attended to my needs and gave me clear instructions how to get the problem under control.
After 5 years I can say about 85% of the techs are great and 15% get the job done. It's a good insurance protection package so overall a great bang for the dollar. I can say the staff when I call is always very friendly and helpful on my platinum care plan.
Marvelous. Our Whirlpool bathtub was not bubbling anymore and we wanted to have a nice romantic weekend. I called and requested if someone could come in within 2 days and they delivered. A whirlpool expert came in on Friday and water got on an internal part and he managed to pry it out and very luckily he had the part in stock and came back(he was very local). Thank you!
The work performed was professional in nature and the technician arrived a few minutes early. My food was about to spoil and I had $100 worth of food in there. The actual cord to the wall was damaged and he was able to do a partial repair and come back the following day and replace the board with electric plug adapter. I watched the job done and it was done well from what I can tell.
In early 2017 I had 3 seperate times that SHW scheduled repairs in my home. An A/C unit died during the hot times of the summer and a failed Water pump that was leaking. The A/C was promptly repaired and the technician made a through check of all the other parts. On the second occasion number 2 the water pump cause a leak on the new cabinets and things were dried out and pipe replaced.
The dispatched repair person fix my clothes dryer. He was prompt and had great knowledge of dryers in general. He gave suggestions on how to keep the unit clean from stuff that could jam the machine again so that future problems would be averted.
Our repair the the recent main drain line was clogged again! The person hired personally did a lousy job. the plumbing company inspected the line with video and saw a major blockage and pipe rot. They fished out the entire pipe and replace the section that needed it.
