Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I agree with other reviews that service once in a while can be lacking, but SH Warranty has come back and made sure that I was a happy camper. That extra touch is why I keep using them over and over again.

I've been a customer since Select started supplying warranties in such a long span of time I had countless break downs of appliances and other things in my house. Select always cared for me as a customer and never once made a situtation difficult. Thank you and I will continue using you at this rate forever!

I have had my warranty for 9 years and only once did I have a problem with a contractor sent to me from Select Home Warranty. I received a call back and the contractor was fired on the spot and a new one was sent later that day. They even gave me a free month of service for the hard time I had.

Worst customer service in my life! My first claim ever was to get heat on got a major run around. No service, no calls. Im disabled and thought this service would be helpful but the 7 people I spoke with all gave me the run around. It's 50 degrees outside, 34 at night!Day 6 of waiting for answer I cancelled and now got harassed by a very aggressive kid in retention dept. I was told I'd get a full refund and now he says that was an error. This is a total rip off, not just bad service, how about NO service! Do they realize I could have ended up in the hospital from being cold this long? Or dead????

Here in Texas I have used Select Home Warranty for 8 years. The first time I ordered a 3 year contract and the second time a 5 year contract. In all those years I have made several claims and all of them were completed to my satisfaction. I never once received a bad company to my door that gave me any trouble. I recommend them 100%.

They gave me no fuss or hassle when i called to complain that my garage door literally fell off the tracks one morning. The company they sent was licensed and insured and it was just a simple realignment that was repaired within 20 minutes.

I just finished up with a wonderful experience with Select Home Warranty. When I discovered my water heater was leaking I called them and spoke with Janet. She was very kind and helped me get the leak under control. Once complete she had a claim setup in her system and a repair person come the next morning. Gerald came and told me a line was bad and he replaced it on the spot. He cleaned the mess and I am happy with how everything is running in my place.

Me and my wife requested our Air Conditioner to be repaired online. After half a day we received a call back from Electric Air Supply. He was very friendly and came out the following day. Repair time was 2 hours with replacement of some parts and cleaning the deris. I was happy with the ease and quickness of it all.

I save a ton of money with time and repairs. It is so easy to just call them and have them find a person or contractor to come in and fix the problem. The central air went and I only paid $60 for the initial call and the service man came back multiple times. This with the upgrades done could have cost me 15k and in the end it only cost me about 500 bucks. When the fridge went out the guy replaced the faulty part in minutes and its been working great ever since.
