Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

The Lawn sprinkler system is the lifeline of the grass as it gets a daily dose of water from it. I had to call Select claims department when the sprinkler system developed a snag. The response happened the very next day and the system was functional before the sprinkling time. Now that is some speed. Good work Select.

I keep the additional furnace as a standby in case the first one is unable to perform. However, I had to summon the Select technician when I found an operating problem in the additional furnace. I had to arrange some spare parts as well and the additional furnace was restored to normal working after 72 hours. Took some time but I am pleased with the amount of effort put in by the Select team.

The garage door opener does make some noise but the other day when a bolt dropped from the door I felt that something was fishy. A quick call to the Select claims department had the expert sent to my place the next morning. It took them two days to repair with some spare part changes but it was a thorough effort.

Despite taking all care in the plumbing system when we bought the house three years ago, we had the plumbing stoppage problem coming in. The family was a bit sceptical about the solution to the problem but hats off to the Select team which diagnosed and removed the fault in a matter of 24 hours.

When the summer temperatures rose the cooling was becoming ineffective and needed servicing. The technician from Select home warranty worked with clockwork precision to set right the problems. The service was quite effective as the cooling has improved to the desired levels. Thanks Select.

The season was changing and the additional AC Unit breakdown was not considered a priority in the house. For Select Home Warranty it was business as usual. They came, checked and repaired the additional AC unit and handed it over in running condition. Now, that I call total professionalism. Well done Select.

The sump pump maintenance is a messy affair but I find the Select team well versed to handle any kind of situation. This year when I had a breakdown they came in with all the required tooling and tackles and put it back in operation within 30 minutes. Now that is amazingly quick for a sump pump repair. Great work! Select team.

When I bought the new house, I made it a point that I will get the plumbing system checked and set right before shifting. I roped in the Select team as the house was covered for the home warranty through them. I got a few changes made based on my past experience and in consultation with the visiting technician. I am now 99% sure that my plumbing system will work fine. Thanks Select for the support.

I had a second breakdown of the Garbage disposal system in less than three months and I called up The Select claims department for it. They assured me of proper investigation and repair and they did it. The repair technician found a fault in two of the levers which were bent and creating problems. The levers were replaced and the system was back in operation within 4 days. It seems to be a proper resolution by the Select team as the garbage disposal is operating smoothly and without any problem.

Thanks to the 3 year Select home warranty contract, I got the coverage for small items like stove and ceiling fan etc. I can straight away approach the claims department in case of a breakdown without having to worry much about the coverage in the contract. That is a good return for my three year upfront payment to Select.
