Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

My refrigerator repair cost me $45 for the technician fee for the relay replacement when I got it done under the home warranty here. It would have cost a hefty amount of $250 I paid when if I got the repair done from the someone local.

I have an additional AC unit installed at the back of the house for emergency use. I failed to check its functioning and it ditched me at the time when my main bedroom AC was giving trouble. Luckily I had them both covered under my warranty and the expert arrived in quick succession of my raising the claim. The faults were minor and were quickly repaired by the technician. Luckily I was without the AC for only 4 hours. Fast response and effective skill-These are the big reason I like having a home warranty

The cooling system in the house was not effective when I bought the house. I complained to select and they sent the technical expert to look at the problem. He made certain changes in the program and adjusted some baffle positions. The cooling improved by almost 2 degree drop in temperature. Thanks as I was not expecting such an effective solution to my problem.

I took my sump pump for repair to a market location. The charges were very hefty and the time taken was 5 days more than what was promised. The pump failed again and luckily I was a member of this home warranty company. The cost was less than 25% of what I had paid earlier and the repair was on dot.

When I bargained for something extra for signing an annual contract, they gave me two post-dated coupons. These come into play after the annual contract finishes and I get 2 months free extension. I liked it and accepted the offer.

I keep my stand alone freezer well stocked. When it suddenly stopped cooling, I was very worried. My husband called Select our Home warranty coverage for the freezer. The technician arrived and diagnosed the fault. The refrigerant gas had leaked. The equipment was tested for leaks with soap solution and brazed. I had to pay for the refrigerant and some nominal charges for the services but it was worth it. The job was professionally done and the cooling was excellent.

After spending a fortune in getting my washing machine and AC repaired from the market, I switched to the home warranty insurance. I am much happier today with a very economic and efficient system.

I was shouting at everyone when my AC stopped cooling in the peak summer. I must have said something bad to the claims as the repair technician arrived only on the next day afternoon. This time I only requested him to repair my AC and he did it in half an hour. I have learnt from the experience.

I bought the "Platinum Care Plan" from Select Home on the recommendation of the sale person and I stand by my decision to this date. The limited breakdowns that I have in my house are well taken care of.
