Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I filed a claim with SHW for the dishwasher. A contractor was sent to my house to repair the dishwasher for me. The contractor was professional, on time and experienced. Good customer service.

My stove was repaired by an experienced professional. I called in the claim last Monday and the repairs were done by Wednesday. The contractor came out as early as possible to repair my issue. Overall I feel that Select handled my claim as well as they could. I understand that the schedule of the contractor is out of their hands even though I wished it was done earlier. Overall I am satisfied with my service and will consider renewing with them in the next few months.

It's day 3 of no a/c and still not fixed. My home is at 91 degrees. Every time I call to follow up, I have to explain the whole situation all over again. I am very disappointed in this company. When my term expires I'm done with you. Then they hire co. who don't return their calls.

Select Home Warranty helped me with my washer claim. The hired a contractor for me who works in my area. The contractor called me and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. When he arrived he was very professional and courteous. He inspected my machine and after looking at it closely he noticed that a small part needed to be replaced as it was worn out. He called select and was able to get permission to continue with the repairs. He ordered the part while still at my home and as soon as it arrived he came back to finish the repairs. I submitted a claim via select home warranty website. A technician called to schedule an appointment within 48 hours of filing my garage door claim. The garage door was repaired on the same day the technician came out. The service has been very good so far.

Last week I filed a claim for the dryer. A contractor arrived a few days later and explained what happened. He said that a part has to be replaced in order for it to dry the clothing. He called Select at my house and gave them the diagnosis and at the same time got approval for the repairs. They ended up covering the cost of the part for the repairs. The contractor came this morning and replaced the part. The dryer works perfectly now.

A contractor was hired by Select to repair the dishwasher. The contractor was professional, on time and very experienced. My dishwasher was repaired as soon as the replacement part arrived. I was informed of the status throughout the claims process. Highly recommended service.
