Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Absolutely a criminal enterprise. They cheated my 89 year old mother. The contract says they fix leaky water pipes, but when she had one that ran from the water heater under the house to the kitchen sink Select said it wasn't covered because it was not in the house. How many water heaters are "in the house" as compared to the attic , basement ,garage? DO NOT USE THEM!

Do not by any means join this company they are con artists, rude and they do not cover the majority of the items they claim they do. They are very unprofessional and do not care about the average homeowner only getting their monthly fees.

Do not buy this warranty they are a scam I talked my friend in to buying it and the first thing was they do not pay for freion then mine went out could not be fixed would not replace it then my ice machine went out they keep sending the wrong parts still not fixed so please do not waste your money

I purchased a home warranty from this company and it is a complete SCAM. Check out the reviews on the BBB website. I want to give a negative star rating for this company.

while they are affordable and their coverage is comparable to everyone else they lack in customer service. claims for a down AC unit take 24/48 for them to even get you on a schedule with someone. If you get your own repair and get paid back by Select it takes well over 30 days to get your money.

I filed a claim for my sprinkler system last week. The repairs were made by a licensed professional. The service was very good. The contractor was very professional and explained everything to me in detail. I am happy with Select Home Warranty.

My sprinkler was repaired within a few days of filing my claim with SHW. The sprinkler contractor was really nice and explained everything to me. He made sure I was satisfied with his work before collecting payment from me.

Its REALLY BAD. Do NOT buy this. They do not cover ANYTHING. Everything is "not covered". Its really a rip off. I have never posted any reviews about any company before. But I want to warn you, do not buy from here. They keep you on wait for hours for authorization, and interpret every issue as "leak" which is not covered. Check it out yourself: 6.3.6. Air Conditioning (Central). This Agreement covers the primary floor air conditioning unit of the covered home only, provided that the air conditioning unit does not exceed a five (5) ton capacity.
