Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I had great service from my contractor who was willing to come out at all hours, was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process answering all of my questions, was fast and efficient and left everything clean.

I had a leak in my bathroom it was on a Saturday and they told me they could not find a plumber so I suggested that I could find one locally and they would reimburse me. According to their policy they are suppose to be 24-7. they are not. I waited and called with just a message telling me they had a huge call volume this went on the entire night. On Sunday I called and was given the run around finally reaching someone was told to contact authorization for my reimbursement to the services because the plumber had to leave. I called on Tuesday and was told that My contract would not cover the valve which is just a small part of the fixture. This company is a fraud. I never was sent a... Read More

So far it been nothing but problems with them. I filed a claim they called me back 2 days later and said that they were behide and i needed to get my own contractor but before he can do any repairs you have to get ahold of the claim center and have them approve it 1st or you wont get reimbursed for the repairs. Well trying to get ahold of them is a pain in the ass. When i finally got ahold of them 3 hours later after contractor was here and left they said they needed to talk with him. Even though the costumer service lady said i can have repairs started since they charge $65 hr. The claims center told me i shouldnt have done that since i needed the approval from them. My most recent experience was an outstanding one. The contractor contacted me quickly and came to make the service call when he said he would. He was professional and knowledgeable. He made the repair and left the work area spotless.

The company was very considerate. They took the time to show me what was wrong and how they were going to fix it. The man that did the repairs was very knowledgeable and kept me updated on when he was going to return. He made the required repairs in a timely manner. I highly recommend Select Home Warranty.

SHW came out for the air conditioner issue in my most recent claim and I was pleased with the experience. The claims rep did a great job and the contractors did tremendous work. A checkup was done and everything was fine with the air conditioner. It's been performing excellently since the repair. I'll definitely continue with the service.

Fantastic, very happy with your service! Service people are very prompt and call within an hour of their arrival. Telephone customer services are also great, but time on the phone can be long, however they inform you of this in initial part of the call.
