Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

BUYER BEWARE! I bought this warranty in good faith from the sales rep with the promise that all things I needed covered were fully covered with this warranty. And with a co-pay of $45 per claim. They only cover certain amounts. They are truly just a discount plan that discounts the cost of repairs when they go over a low $ amount. You are on the hook for the remainder. When I spoke to customer service they said that was the cap and they have caps on all things based on the life of the plan so they basically don't lose money with what I have paid. I've been a member for a year and a half and this is the first time we have needed to make a claim. Having not so good situations with other customer service agents, I wasn't prepared for the quick, friendly service I got when I called. The gal who answered gently led me down the path of required info needed and explained the whole process to me of what to expect and what I would be required to do. The whole call lasted about 20 minutes and when we hung up I was very satisfied!

I have submitted multiple claims to Select Home Warranty in the past couple of years. I have had great success. They generally contact you within 24 hours of submitting your claim. Usually within that 24 hours you have also been assigned a technician for your issue.

Worst company I have ever worked with, they are not honest. I have been told twice that they could not dispatch a technician and I would be responsible for locating a technician. I was told they would reimburse the fees but after submitting the bill they denied the claim and would not do any reimbursements. I will be canceling my contract and will NEVER use this company again. I am switching back to AHS.
