Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

This is bogus!! Buyer beware!!!! They are paying people for positive reviews in exchange for additional months of their junky no good service!!! RUN!!!! I haven't had air conditioning for OVER 3 weeks!!!!! Every time you call , it's the same crap... it will take 24 - 48 hours. Blah blah blah!!!!

STAY AWAY from this Company. They are the WORST. They say they will resolve your issue within 48 business day hours but that is a bald faced lie. We had our kitchen sink start leaking July 3, ok so the business days don't start until July 6 but still no contact number from them for a plumber July 6 or 7th. By end of day July 8, I have to call them and see why they haven't delivered this contact info as promised. Only after I call them do I get someone to actually send me this information, 5 days after my initial claim was submitted. THEN after the plumber actually comes over and assesses that we need a new garbage disposal, we are told that it will take another 2 days to get... Read More

Beware of all of the positive reviews, they offer a free month if you give them a good review. In my experience they throw discounts at you and hound you to choose them, when you need them though, they can't be bothered. They tell you to find your own worker, (this time electrician last time plumbing) and have them call Select to set up payment or they'll reimburse you. Spoiler: They don't reimburse and most workers in your area don't trust them because they're not getting paid or getting paid a lot less than the actual cost. The Lady rep who helped me with the process of doing a new claim was great and very polite and made the process easy and all I have to do is wait for them to send me an email when they find me a Technician in my area and then I can plan accordingly the day and time with the Technician. So far from switching over from First American it has been a very pleasant experience. Thank you again!
