Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

They have been very helpful. Speed has been the only issue ever, and I have been assured with the new priority plan that speed will no longer be an issue and that we can now choose our own vendor. I have been very pleased with the service we have received so far from Select Home Warranty and would recommend them.

Responded with a telephone call to my online claim submission within two hours. Friendly representative asked me all the necessary information, gave me a claim number, told me when to expect a technician to be assigned and asked if there was anything else she could help me with today. What else could one want from a warranty company? The expected time for a tech is within 48 hours. Very normal for a non-emergency call. I have another home protected by this company and recently added this one for an extended period of time. Satisfied all the way around.

There customer service is a joke. I needed an issue and tried to get a manager, no one could figure it out. I’m not someone who gripes bc of one experience. Literally I may stick with them bc of the price but I tell you what I have no confidence in this company to do things in a timely manner. Even when our air conditioning is went out it took them two day’s to get a company booked. Overall, great price, but bad customer service. If you have more margin in your finances I would go elsewhere.

I filed a claim on 05/31 and the diagnosis was made and approved on 06/09. I was told I would hear from their vendor within 24 hours. After multiple calls and speaking with their escalations department, I still cannot get Select Home Warranty to send the authorization to their vendor. Very frustrating and poor customer service!
