Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Mr Hemminger was unable to find the policy I thought I had signed up for. but worked diligently until he located the problem. I somehow had a number that was wrong so the computer coud not find me but a person did.

Don't fall for the scam this company is. We had a very pushy salesman so we finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase the best plan Select Home Warranty had to offer. We ran into some issues with our HVAC system and called SHW to start the claims process (we live in Houston, TX and this was in the middle of the Summer so we had no AC during 100° weather). They sent 3 different technicians out from their recommended companies (we had to pay $75 service call for each, so now we're out $225) who were unable to diagnose the issues, so we went most of the summer with an AC unit that sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. My last call with Select Home Warranty was positive. Information that was requested was finally received and I am awaiting a resolution to my repair. It has been approximately 2 weeks since my Dishwasher went out and I placed my claim in on 04/02/2020 so I pray that the problem will be resolved soon.

I was searching to begin again using a home warranty company. Select warranty with Sarah which give great price for necessary coverage. Jonathan did followup call and offer a more economical plan the company had. Since, I plan to continue coverage for several years, Jonathan price was very beneficial for my home needs.
