Super is a subscription-based home repair and maintenance service. The company offers three plans starting at $64 per month. All plans include both appliances and systems. Customers have the option of customizing any plan to cover a wide range of home features, including pools and spas, well pumps, and duplicate appliances.

Super is one of the more expensive services out there and its plan pricing and coverage limit structure is among the most complicated we've seen. For example, the price of any plan you choose will increase if you have a larger home because rates are established according to the area of your home. Even a careful reading of the company's sample contract leaves many questions unanswered. But the company doesn't limit the number of claims that you can make and some system coverage may be unlimited, depending on the plan you choose.

In addition, by adding the It's Covered option to your plan, some appliance and system parts that other home warranty companies exclude are included.

Super offers three home warranty packages: the Security, Signature and Lux plans. The more you are willing to pay for a plan, the more appliances and systems are covered.

Super helps and encourages customers to perform routine maintenance on their homes. Once you are an established customer, Super will send you updates when normal maintenance tasks should be performed throughout your home. Subscribers have the option of engaging one of Super's contractors to perform the work, with deductibles ranging from $75 to $149.

Super also protects against unknown pre-existing conditions, which are often excluded from most home warranty contracts.

The minimum annual premium with Super is $449 annually. That price applies to homes under 1200 square feet in area and located in Arizona. Premiums for larger homes are higher, as they are for homes located in more expensive parts of the country.

Other contract features are on par with competitive home warranties. You are not required to sign up for a full year of coverage, but if you sign an annual contract, you'll receive a discount off the monthly price. Super coverage for existing homes that are not on the market begins 15 days after you make your first payment. That's a somewhat shorter waiting period than some competitive plans offer. Super has a pretty standard cancellation clause. You can cancel within 30 days and receive a full refund, minus the cost of any repairs the company performed during the covered period. However, the company also charges a $50 cancellation fee.

Cancellation Policy

Agreement can be cancelled by you within thirty (30) days of the Plan Effective Date, and a full refund will be made. You may cancel this Agreement more than thirty (30) days after the Agreement effective date, and you shall be entitled to refund of the pro-rata Agreement charge less claims paid, any unpaid service fees, and a $50 administrative fee. Cancellation of this plan must be in writing.

Super makes it easy to submit claims by offering online, mobile, email, and telephone contact methods. Customers can submit an unlimited number of claims during a covered period, however the company places a cap on the dollar value of claims you can submit in a year. Coverage limits increase as you step up to Super's more expensive plans. Under no circumstances will the company be responsible for more than $30,000 in repairs, no matter which plan or upgrades you choose.

Horrible service, impossible to get through to them unless you want to purchase a new warranty. It will take a very long time for them to send someone out to just ' evaluate' the problem and they will do everything possible not to provide coverage. Basically if its something you need to have (hot water, fridge, etc) you will end up replacing it yourself

My experience with Super is not good at all. If you have a one and done issue (1 visit) you might be OK. However, when you need Super to follow up on an issue with multiple visits they are worthless. My A/C was not working and we called Super. They sent a technician out to our house on Sat. May 30. The technician was OK... he diagnosed the issue as the coils leaking and needed to be replaced. He contacted Super to let them know the issue. Super immediately responded by requesting my home inspection report... which I immediately sent. Stay away from this company! They are nothing but FRAUD! We have been sitting in a house with 90-95 degrees temperature with kids and pets for the past 20 day. They don't communicate, deliver or respond to any of our calls. So far they have charged our credit card with a total of $425 and our A/C hasn't been fixed. I am getting my A/C fixed by someone else since trying to reach out Hello Super was nothing but a waste of time and money. I wish I read all the reviews before I spend my money with them. I was signed up for a home warranty though my title company. There was some misunderstanding, because I never asked for it. I got worried and checked them out. I found two issues that disturbed me: 1. They can only be contacted via social networking. I never, never, never use social networking. 2. Their privacy policy is too liberal for my tastes (and the only reachable person is a sales rep who does not understand my issues). I am out $650 on a policy I never agreed to.

We are sitting in the house with a temperature 87 degrees F. Our AC is blowing hot air . Many attempts to reach Hello Super via, Facebook, Apps and call were not successful.

I had a plumbing issue which was urgent, I contacted them June 11, June 12 they charged the $75 copay, on June 15 they scheduled a plumber for June 16, the plumber never showed up, they said they were going to contact another plumber. Today is June 22, they never called me back, the service request now appears as completed in their web site!!! I tried to call customer service several times during the past few days, their phone lines are always "busy" according to the automatic message, it indicates I should use the web site, that does not work, they never contacted me back. I hired a plumber by myself and solved the issue today. SUPER is worthless, do not waste your money as I did.

worst service company I've ever worked with and still without any resolution to my range being fixed or replaced. This company needs to be shut down and taken to court for their fraudulent behavior. Like all others on this list, the company schedules multiple technicians to come out, awful (awful) customer service with agents saying they'll call back with no call. I have some sympathy given the time we are all living in but after 2.5 months with no solution, enough is enough.

Do not buy a home warranty through this company. They are fraudulent. I wish I read reviews about the company online prior to purchasing. I submitted a claim after my air conditioner was not working. They state on the information they give you that air conditioning is covered up to 10,000$. First when calling to try and get an appointment they would hang up and would not take my call. I ended up having to call my realtor, who recommended the policy, to contact them because I could not get a hold of anybody. They would not schedule any appointments without my realtor calling her Super rep daily and placing pressure on the company. They also made us pay over 500$ to get the air conditioning... Read More
