DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! My girlfriend and I booked 2 nights through Agoda for the Days INN in Dickenson, TX. The website said that the hotel had breakfast included and clean rooms- NOPE! We checked in on Friday evening and we were back at the front desk within 45 minutes to demand our money back and leave. There were LIVE COCKROACHES in the bed, dead cockroaches in the drawers, holes in the wall, dust and filth everywhere, matresses piled up in the parking lot, a deodarant sticker covering an electrical outlet, holes in he blankets, and a note saying breakfast was not included. BE WARNED! I have hotel booked through Agoda, when I receive an email 3 weeks before my trip, simply saying they made a mistake and they have cancelled my booking. That's it! Nothing else. No offer to figure out something or even to give me the opportunity to pay additional. I've travelled to many places for years and NEVER had this happen. Horrible experience! Will never use again.
I guess I should have looked at the reviews before using this company. Never again will I use them. My booking was cancelled yesterday, even after they have taken payment. I fly out tomorrow and now have nowhere to stay. They stated they canceled my booking for nonpayment but took the payment from my account. I called yesterday to ask why did they take the payment if they canceled my booking. Customer Service stated they had an issue with taking the payment and was refunding it back to my account...now that doesn't make sense. Agoda where do I begin. Has to be the absolute worst third party booking site. Booked a trip for my birthday and my daughters sweet 16s back in March of 2021 for an end of June trip with friends (11 on total)

They dropped my reservation two days before travel causing us to book the sister property Principe Bahia Akumel and raising the nightly cost so I had to pay an additional $800. Noone helped, not the hotel and def not Agoda they offered a $100 credit to book again with them, what a joke. Horrible. One star is being extremely nice. Please don't use Agoda if you care about your vacation plans.
AGODA is AWFUL! Their site had in big words "FREE CANCELLATION" yet they fail to tell you that there's a TINY LINK elsewhere NOWHERE OBVIOUS that exposes ONLY if you're under the 17 day window. I reserved at the 16 day mark and now they're telling me I will have to pay one night's price if I cancel. That's false advertising and deceitful! NOT an honest company and will NEVER use them again. HORRIBLE experience!
Terrible! Terrible! We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights 2 days ago. Today we decided to extend our stay to 6 nights. Their virtual chat tells us we have to cancel our current reservation then re-book a new one with the new dates so that's what we did. When we re-book, prices were much higher so I reach out to customer service. They told me since I cancelled the reservation, I had to pay a higher price because that's what the price is now. I explained to them that we canceled the reservation because that's what we were told to do. Flawed system. BEWARE you will still be charged!!! if you choose your hotel and put in your dates and the number of people, you MUST hit the search button even with the hotel information below. If you do not hit the SEARCH button, your dates will not change and if you hit "BOOK THIS HOTEL" which is the green button below, the dates you put in at the top of the screen DO NOT CARRY OVER and you will book a room on the date originally in the form. THEN if you have booked a room that is non-refundable, you will get the dates in your confirmation and they will be the WRONG DATES!! Deceptive advertising. Their website shows "Free Cancellation" with the lowest rate, which is the non-refundable rate. Minutes after booking the non-refundable rate, I contacted them through chat and they refused to change my booking to the free cancellation.
We booked park Motel and Cabins. In Florence Oregon Coast.It was well rated. We booked 2 nights and could not use our second night. Fleas, ,brown dirty washcloths, extremely hard bed and no coffee in tray for pot. Called for coffee to be stocked but none provided. Inquired about refund for 2nd night considering the miserable experience but front desk said never an option. I can see why.
I do not recommend this place!!!
Beware Agoda has international charges which aren't represented in what you pay. Your credit card will charge you those fees separate.
