Worse window company I’ve ever dealt with. Yes they will honor the warranty, but only half of it. You know, the half that takes your money to cover the prorated part of getting a new window. After that, nothing. We’ve been trying for a whole year to get the replacement window after they charged our credit card for the prorated fee. We can’t even see out of the window as it has become damaged by the leakage of whatever the substance is between the panes. Sure wish I could leave a negative 1000 stars. And let me add, the warranty customer service attendants put you on hold and never come back to the phone. Then they are rude when you call back. After twenty minutes on hold each time I... Read More

I have had 7 double hung windows replaced by alside at 2 different times. Of the 14 panes of glass so far 4 of the gaskets have failed allowing mildew to form on the inside so they cannot be cleaned. The "Industry leading warranty" they claim involves sending a new window to a location 140 miles from my home that I must go and pick up and then the installer I used will not even install the replacement glass!

I have the exact problem as Roger E. from Atlanta. I had to travel 100 miles to Richmond , Va to pick up my 3 warranty windows made by Revere from Allside. After getting home to install them, only one had a frame, the other 2 were just double glass. The vinyl frames were obviously plastic welded at joints, so i'm stuck with 2 pieces of glass and still 2 bad windows. A call to allside windows also said the frames were discontinued. These windows are 11 years old. Very poor service. I'll now have to do full replacement windows which will not match others! And i'm also out money for a "prorated warranty"...

We were sent to the Solon, Ohio showroom by our architect to look at siding, windows and shingles. Walked around checking out samples and no one even acknowledged that we were there. Ended up giving our business to someone else.

We put in Alside windows several years ago and they are great. No problems whatsoever and though not cheap the price was fair. One screen broke and our contractor immediately got us a replacment. I would highly recommend as an option to other overpriced and more well known brands.

Had 22 Alside windows installed. Very poor quality product. I would not recommend purchasing Alside products. Windows don't close with ease & now I have leaks. Little follow up with concerns and getting more angry with each passing day! Johnny K Lebanon, TN 03-14-19

The listing says Newark, NJ, but this is about the Providence, RI office. We had 17 Alside windows installed in August 2018 and they're okay--they work fine but the inner grids on a couple of them aren't square and, after thorough cleaning, I realized several of them have slight finger smudges BETWEEN the panes, so cannot be cleaned. I wouldn't order from them again, just based on these problems, but the big issue is our bay window. The bay window started leaking immediately, and was brought to Alside's attention immediately. It is now nearly five months later and I may or may not be getting a replacement window installed in the next week or two. The Providence, RI office has been... Read More

I just installed these windows in my condo. They are terrible quality. The side joints of the frame around the windows are all uneven. Some pieces of metal stick out more than others. None of them are flush. It's going to be a bugbear to clean and it makes me question the quality of the windows in general, the insulation, etc. I absolutely wish I could get my money back, so I'm here to warn you not to get a lemon like I did and replace your whole home's windows with these pieces of crap.

We purchased a home in 2007. All the Alside windows have failed seals and fogging. Because we are not the original owner, warranties do not apply. I have 25 windows in this house and I I'm looking at a $50K bill to replace them all. With the 2015 lawsuit for Alside premature failures, do not buy these windows.

The window was very nice but the installers alside sent were very unprofessional and installed it incorrectly. They sent a second installer with a new window. The second installer used the same cables without adjusting them and the first installers had done them incorrectly. They sent a third installer, the business partner of the second installer. He redid everything and all was well for about a year or so. This is a huge bay window that cost thousands of dollars. It leaks. The sill is warped and darkened. For a year now we have been dealing with the warrantee department. We have sent photos, a report from a licensed contractor, jumped through every hoop they asked for I have sent... Read More
