Absolute crap!!!!! Customer service is even worse. Bought 18 windows and you can literally feel the cold air coming through them. When you contact Alside, you get a million excuses and representatives that are more interested in their upcoming retirement than they are helping customers

I have their windows on the Southwest side of my house. Installed in may of 2016. I can see stains inside the lower window in five places. Don't really want to argue about it. Ill just replace with the Andersen from the Home Depot. Those windows are holding up great on the rest of the house. They still look OK. Like I said.... I am out of steam arguing about products that just dont make the Grade. Ben from Stratford

3 years ago I had a contractor install these. I can’t say I’ve had issues- UNTIL the first time I went to clean them. At 72 with health issues I had no idea the screens are on the outside of the sliders I had installed upstairs. So they need to be lifted out to clean them. You better have strong arms and legs! Worse, the screen is outside the window and you can’t get it out until you lift out both panes. Who designed these? Honestly it had to be an engineer who never washed a window in a two story house in his life. If the window is larger it’s quite heavy and without help I cannot do it. I suggest you look elsewhere. NO issues with the two Infinity windows we... Read More

Terrible windows. My home is 8 years old and I'm losing window after window very quickly (bad seals) Alside "lifetime warranty" is none existing.

Windows are fine, but customer service & warranty assistance is non-existent. Have been trying to contact warranty for two months. Opened claimed, stated they sent correspondence that I never received, called multiple times, but department is only open like 1 day a week for 3 hours. Sat on hold for over an hour with no response. Left contact info and no response. Emailed and no response. Claim was eventually denied with no explanation. Called main number and was told only warranty can help. Unbelievably poor customer service.

I purchased 6 awning Alside windows in September 2019. In October 2019 the windows produced condensation to the point you couldn’t even see out. The condensation was the reason for replacing the windows. The windows allows air to come in and blow the curtains. One of the window gets frost on the inside of the windows. These windows are junk. I would not recommend them to anyone. The latches will not pull the windows in tight. I have tried to work with the installer and just get blown off. Beware don’t buy these windows. I am rating these windows a one as there is not a minus 5 which is the rating they deserve.

I'm not at all happy that I have to go on line and place the claim, instead of the Company who installed the windows. The first defect I had, with one of these windows, I called the Company and they came out and replaced the window. Very nice service as it should be. Now I have another window with a defect and the Company is no longer allowed, decision by Alside Corporate, to place the claim, instead it must be the customer as Alside has set this ruling up to take the Company out of the equation all together. It's a Hassle: In order to replace a defective Alside window, I have to take a picture of the defect and download it, then I have to prove I own my home when the window was... Read More

Worst windows made, they leak between the panes and the balance devices are the cheapest made. Mine was new construction, 3 years ago, within 6 months, one of the balance devices shredded and needed to be replaced. After fighting with my builder, I finally got it replaced and was handed a half dozen of the devices along with instructions for replacing any that failed. I have fog in 3 panes and you can forget about the warranty, it isn't worth the paper it's written on. The warranty department has yet to respond to my claim and on top of that, they don't provide service technicians for repairs, it's all on the owner. These jokers should be investigated for fraud.

They do not honor their warranty. My garden window failed after 16 months and they denied my claim saying my warranty had expired. How does a lifetime warranty expire? Don't buy these windows. Pay the extra money and buy from a reputable company.

I had a porch added to my house and the contractor used Alside windows. If I had known then what I know now I would have gone with another brand. Within five years the seals started to fail. What I thought was a life-time warranty was a five-year warranty because they were new construction rather than replacement windows. I'm now faced with replacing one or two sashes every year. They actually seem like well made windows except for the failing seals and lack of warranty.
