My experience has been terrible. I have been trying to get so one to call reference a replacement window since May 2021. No one will return my phone calls or email me with an update. I have been on the phone 4 separate times with a wait time of more than an hour and the regarding will state you to leave your info and an agent will return your call, that has not happened as of today. I am on the phone. I am on the phone and have been waiting for N agent for 1 hr and 15 mins. It is hard to believe that you can purchase product that provides you a lifetime warranty and it takes a lifetime to get the support or service.

Check your warranty!! I bought Alside windows for my entire home in 1999. The casements broke a few years later, and someone came out to replace the crank. Today, I called the company that installed the windows (they are now out of business) to report a crack on an exterior window. So I tried to file a claim about the exterior casement pane that cracked and is releasing argon, I was told that my warranty can not be processed because there is a limited 20 year warranty. So lifetime only means 20 years- Thousands of dollars spent means no customer support after 20 years.

We bought 2 large double hung 3 pane windows from Alside Windows (with Lifetime Warranty) via Da Bella here in Portland, Or in in 2014. In 2019 one window got crooked in the window track. We cannot open the window & the top part falls down. Bottom doesn't stay up. We called DaBella, who installed them, & was referred to an 800 phone # for Alside (Texas). We went on line & emailed Alside & later called repeatedly with no response from Alside. We recontacted DaBella after THE COVID Pandemic & it took a month of repeated calls to them to get them to respond. Finally, DaBella contacted us after complaint to the boss & said customer service would contact Alside & have someone call... Read More

Alside was a subcontractor for windows we bought from LEI. They installed 15 windows in April 2016, and to date, 7 of these have leaked and needed to be reinstalled. The leaking also caused damage to our drywall which we had to repair on our own. It was difficult to get the contactor to fix the windows every time they leaked. We contacted LEI and although they put a service request in with Alside it took weeks for them to contact us and fix the windows. They are very difficult to deal with.

I have tried for over 2 years to get a response from Alside regarding the failure of the seals on our windows. First, they said I have to have the manufacturer's number from the label on the each window with a failure- First problem, most of the windows have no such label. I did find a white label on a couple of windows - it was pure white (no indication of a manufacturer's number). Maybe it was written in invisible ink? Second problem - Alside said they could find our windows in their database, but this might take a few days. Over a year later, and they apparently still can't find the numbers. They are unresponsive. I can only conclude that they hope I will just go away and they... Read More

We have been working with Alside window issues for over a year, customer service/warranty doesn't seem to exist as we've been bounced around like a ping pong ball with zero meaningful resolutions. Our main issues include: (1) mismatched color issues between windows, screens and vinyl borders. (2) water drains slowly from exterior window sills creating water back up which then comes up and over and sits on interior window sills which is now affecting drywall. It appears that this may be a manufacturing defect as the base of the screen border seems to block the weep holes. This experience has turned out to be one giant headache!

When I ordered my windows on January 7, 2021, I was told they would be ready to install in 8-12 weeks. It has been 12 weeks and I am told now to wait another 6 weeks. BAD SERVICE!!!! I suspect they have not yet started on my 14 window order, because there’s more money to be made on bigger orders. THAT WOULD BE MOST UNETHICAL!!!!

GARBAGE!!! And customer service is even worse than their windows. Bought 17 of these windows from a local contractor(Conrey Construction)that asssured me that although the reviews were bad, he would stand behind them and the company has gotten a lot better. Wouldn’t you know it...once I got the windows and discovered they were not even remotely close to what he represented, I tried to get customer service from Alside. This was an absolute joke. No response or even acknowledgement of my communications. I even wrote directly to the CEO. Still haven’t heard from that clown. Skip Conrey agrees there is an issue with the windows and eventually get some new sashes from Alside. These... Read More

We replaced the windows in our home using ALSIDE. All of the ALSIDE Windows in the entire house had to be replaced, eventually, because of gasket failures causing the windows to cloud up. Every time we received the new windows they came in a frame. This year (windows are still covered at 20% per warranty) we ordered two new windows that were failing, at a cost of approximately $85.00. We got to the Baltimore location to pick up the windows and they were NOT in a frame, just glass. I questioned this and was told that the windows we had, have been discontinued and the warranty states that the company just has to provide the glass. Not happy about this. I googled what it would cost for me... Read More

Yes all went well until we tried to replace 1 window that became fogged. Finally downloaded what they wanted to my computer and they said it was too large. Tried to email them with NO luck. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I did have 2 other windows with the same problem the 2nd year but the salesman took care of it for us. He now will not call us back.
