Submitted the proper form and receipt for eye exam it was refused the first time due to no doctor signature resubmitted the form again with doctors signature was refused again due to no receipt and they said the wife was not covered after clearing up the coverage issue they requested we send in the forms again which they said they have both but could not combinde them we would need to that I guess they really need the 55.00 dollars

Davis vision has horrible customer service for claims. I have been waiting for my $30 reimbursement check since July. They keep saying the check was mailed to me but I have yet to receive it.

What a joke this place. I will have close to 2 months out glasses since I order my wife’s prescription. She had to drop from college because she can not see. Also she was unable to get her drivers license and therefore s better job position. I will SAY DO NOT USE this Company. I spent lots of hours on the phone, people hanging up my calls and overall just getting excuses to not reinstate my benefits and now it is going to be up to 30 days to tell. E they can do anything about it. Also if you are in Maryland DO NOT Use the Maryland Eye Institute. Between Davis vision and the former, they both have done a terrible job covering their mistakes with polices that affect customers. They have... Read More

This company is the biggest group of scam artists I have ever encountered in an insurance company. They go out of thier way to look for reasons NOT to reimburse the consumer yet have no problems collecting your premiums month after month. I would not recommnend this company to ANYONE and would advise any comsumer or business/business owner to search elsewhere for your employee vision needs.

I am extremely frustrated with this company. I visited my doctor in May and ordered some new glasses. They told me it might take up to two weeks because they had to use Davis (my insurance company) My doctor finally got a hold of a real live person after 4 weeks to ask why my glasses have been in the finishing department for 3 weeks. They said to email the lab. He said that had already been done several times and he needed to speak to a supervisor. After a frustrating conversation, the Davis supervisor finally admitted that they had lost the frame 3 weeks ago. When asked why they had not told us, they had no answer. I wish I could give this a minus 100 stars. I have been trying to get my glasses replaced since January......it is now May. They have been supposedly 1. lost in transit 2. Lost going from the rep on the phone to the lab 3. never sent after yet another contact with Davis 4. Promised within 7-10 days (that last one was now 16 days ago. I have been lied to, promised follow up that has not happened. Oh - and all this is because when they originally replaced my lenses they cut them to the wrong prescription. So on top of waiting all this time and having to deal with their horrible customer service, I am wearing glasses that are too strong and give me constant headaches (I am a daily... Read More

i have been waiting a month and a half for my glasses and as far as I can tell I have been lied to over and over again by both davis and my eye dr they don"t even deserve 1 star

I have had TERRIBLE experience with this company. Time after time they are unable to process claims, checks aren't sent, forms aren't online, the member website has wrong information,...
