HORRIBLE customer service: I am extremely frustrated with WSJ Wine Club. They claim that you can refuse any order, but they don't tell you that there customer service is so poor you can't get your money back. I contacted them in early December 2018 to cancel my club and return the last shipment. My wife, the wine drinker in the family, found out she was pregnant, and we didn't need the wine anymore or the expense. When I contacted them on Dec. 5 they assured me it was no problem; the wine was en route, but I should just refuse the order, and I would be credited the money back. Seemed reasonable. I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND WAS NOT TOO THRILLED FROM THE START; ONE LARGE ORDER I HAD TO CANCELL DUE TO THEIR DELIVERY DATE WAS WEEKS AFTER THE ORIGIONAL ORDERED DATE, I HAD TO CANCELL THAT ONE AND ORFER FROM SOME OTHER PLACE. MY LAST ORDER WAS FOR 2 CASES, ALMOST $400.00. A FEW WEEKS LATER ONE CASE WAS DELIVERED WITH A NOTE FROM THE SHIPPER THE OTHER ONE IS BEING SHIPPED. ABOUT A WEEK LATER THE OTHER SHIPMENT CAME IN MINUS 6 BOTTLES. I CALL WSJWINE TOLD THEM ABOUT THE SHORTAGE AND I OFFERED TO CONTACT THE SHIPPER BUT THAY SAID THEY WOULD HANDLE IT. so far opened 5 out of 15. all with little taste, body, structure or full fruit . will not renew. it was an experiment in wine club.
