DO NOT buy this product. The quality and workmanship is terrible and the company does not stand by their product as in the past.. I bought shades for my bow window. I was so excited until they were installed. One of the shades sits at an angle. The installer tried to fix it but it was defective. He called Hunter Douglas and sent the pictures. He was informed, the shade angle was acceptable. Now it looks like my STUCK with a defective shade. I am so disappointed in this product.

On 6/29/20 I purchased Hunter Douglas HoneyComb Shades for 2 windows, inside flush mount. I hired a professional installer to measure the windows and he sent in the measurement to HD. The shades are both 3/4" from the window sill should be around 1/4". The installer said that is not right. HD was willing to replace them. The installer measured 2nd time and he said he had the exact same measurement from the first time. Months later, the replacement shades arrived. Asked installer to confirm if the replacements were longer. Unfortunately, they were the exact length. Many photos taken to show situation. The Rep. at Hunter Douglas refused to do what is right and send me longer shades.... Read More

I cannot even give Hunter Douglas Blinds one star! It took them 6 months to get 3 blinds right. I had ordered blinds for 3 windows and each window had to have them redone 3 times! When I inquired about compensation for the poor workmanship, they told me that they gave me the new blinds at no charge. That is the most ridiculous comment I ever heard. You made me new ones at no charge because your company messed up the other ones. Of course, you would give me them at no charge!! The worse customer service I have ever experienced. I will never put another Hunter Douglas blind in my home!!!!

Horrible! I've had the luminettes now for almost 2 years and they are an engineering nightmare .I've contacted the corporate office from Hunter Douglas and they've done absolutely nothing. I have filed BBB complaints in the BBB does nothing and continues to give them an a+ rating. I even filed a complaint with the Florida attorney general's office. Hunter Douglas has done nothing about their powerview luminette warranty which is supposed to be a lifetime warranty. do not buy from Hunter Douglas they do not honor their product they wait for you to try and legally file suit and good luck with .

I know these blinds have very high ratings, but I strongly urge you to think twice, three times, before investing in them. I built a new house and outfitted almost all the windows with Hunter Douglas blinds, most of which were motorized. I’ve had technicians in my house three times to try to get the motors to operate correctly, and I’m no better off than I was at the beginning. A technician just left this afternoon telling me that everything was working properly—yet I have the exact problems I had before he came. I’m really disappointed with the Hunter Douglas warranty, given the cost of the blinds. I initially went with HD for every blind in my house because I thought I was buying a quality product that would last. I spent almost $20K on various blinds, including power view, for our house and now there are 4 blinds where the fabric is lifting from the cassette. Material delamination is supposedly covered under warranty. When I tried to contact HD myself, they wouldn't speak to me and referred me to a HD dealer to troubleshoot this issue. We have 6 of the hunter douglas silhouette shades on the same wall in our living room. Two of the six are disintegrating , they will not warranty them. They said it is the elements, how can 2 of six in the exact location have this happen to them? We have a total of 30 blinds in our home mostly Hunter douglas blinds.. I would never purchase from them again they are over priced and their lifetime warranty is terrible. They came up with an excuse for not being part of the warranty. They want $900 per blind to replace!

Quality not at all worth the price and the warranty is a joke. We spent $13k for the whole house. Things start to break down at year 5 (a few months ago), in the heat of the summer when you need the shades the most. The automation fix took about 2 months. Six Duette blinds split one after another. I called HD 800 number. They referred me to a local gallery shop. It's been a months and half. I've been calling the shop the HD customer service one to three times every week, and the last answer is that the shade are just being shipped to HD. I have two sets of HD shades in my apartment and there is no fixture I hate more than them. They are fine until they don’t work. I read two manuals, watched several videos, read countless websites and still can’t get them to work again. I’ve been trying for almost a year in my dark apartment. Would really like sunshine again. Yes, I changed the batteries. I think if a company makes things this difficult, they cannot be trusted.

Would never buy again. After ten years, cord mechanism on my pirouette broke. Was told they no longer make the mechanism, but they have the same fabric if we want to order a new blind. They are expensive blinds and are useless to me without the cord. Just a way to make you purchase new blinds. That is not standing behind your product
