Coverage - 5 / 5

Endurance offers a total of eight vehicle services contracts. You can pretty much customize your coverage so that it suits your needs perfectly. The company offers both traditional repair plans under its five breakdown protection plans, plus the option of adding routine maintenance coverage by choosing one of its three EnduranceAdvantage™ plan options. Endurance covers the systems and components you'd expect it to, plus maintenance coverage up to $3,500 per year through Advantage. Through its wide range of personalized protection, you can find the plan that's right for you, with prices increasing as you choose more comprehensive coverage.

Endurance sets itself apart from the competition by offering specialized coverage on high tech components, factory navigational systems, commercial vehicles, and hybrid/electric vehicles. In addition, all Endurance vehicle service contracts include 24/7 roadside assistance and a free year of the Endurance Elite membership, including $2,000 in benefits like key fob replacement, tire repair and replacement, towing, fuel delivery, lockout assistance, and more.

Endurance does limit its payouts to the trade-in value of the vehicle covered in the contract.
Limit of Liability: The average trade-in value of the vehicle as provided by the NADA Guides or the purchase price of the vehicle as provided by a bill of sale.

Claims & Repairs - 5 / 5

With Endurance Warranty, repair claims may be submitted after the waiting period has been completed, generally 30 days and 1,000 miles.

Deductibles are typically $100 and must be paid before the claim is to be approved. The company also pays all covered claims up front, so customers don’t have to incur in high out-of-pocket expenses or wait to be reimbursed.

This approach is quite different from that of other companies, increasing the value of Endurance policies and highlighting the benefits of their customer-centered business approach.

To further differentiate themselves from other competitors, Endurance offers car warranties that are honored wherever there is a licensed, authorized repair facility. Unlike other car warranty companies that only approve repairs at specific locations or charge extra for repairs that take place in shops outside their network, Endurance’s warranties can be used anywhere, regardless of state lines.

That means that if you’re away from home when you need vehicle repairs, you can still receive the services you need without hassles or additional expenses.

Endurance does not require vehicle inspections for the warranty coverage to begin. Making things even easier, not only is a warranty transfer allowed to a new driver or new vehicle entirely, but cancellation comes with a money-back guarantee within the first 30 days.

Endurance calls this a “review period” in which customers have the option of canceling their auto warranty if they decide the product doesn’t meet their needs.

However, there is one caveat. After the initial review period has ended, if a cancellation is requested by the customer a pro-rated refund may be granted depending on claims paid out and policy time/mileage used.

For more information on Endurance Warranty plans and policies, visit the company’s FAQ section under the resource center. There you will find answers to the most pressing questions consumers have about extended auto warranties as a whole, as well as company-specific details regarding policy options, coverage, and claims.

One thing I noticed is that Brad only answers the good reviews and does not address the negative. I have repeatedly asked for my name to be taken off the mailing address only to keep receiving more. I also have stated that I will only do business with the car dealership that I bought it from. They get aggressive to try and sell. I have asked multiple questions and have gotten no answers. If they can't answer your questions and don't deal with the negative comments this is not a good company to deal with. I smell a scam. I have read all the reviews good and bad and have chosen never to do business with this company. Watch your pocket book you work hard to give away hard earned cash... Read More

I have had an awful experience with Endurance. I was driving my vehicle when the warning lights turned on and immediately pulled off the freeway to safety. It took a number of days for a "third party" to inspect the vehicle, they denied any payment according to my service dealer because they stated that I was operating the vehicle after the warning light had turned on. They did not provide me with any objective evidence of this being the case. They said they would not reimburse me for the tow, and so I called to speak with the company regarding all of the above. The customer service was unprofessional, they were rude to my wife and when I called I was equally unsatisfied. I spoke with... Read More

I was looking into getting insurance for my 2014 Cadillac CTS vsport with only 20,000 miles and after reading the reviews I would never ever get a coverage who these people it seems to me that they take the money Farm out the jobs two different companies which are substandard and refuse to pay it's a money-making scheme that people walk into unexpectedly not knowing that they were going to be ripped off from the beginning people believe if they buy a warranty it would be covered but most of these aftermarket warranties will only do the basic work p break down go jump start your car so tell it to the shop and then they deny the claims bio warranty if you can through a dealer or through the... Bought a new 2011 Ford F150 from Ford dealer and completed a dealer 5 year extended warranty. All work and service had been done at the Ford dealer and the warranty was terrific. Wanted to continue warranty coverage so I purchased an extended warranty from Endurance in Dec of 2017. Feb 2018 took to the dealer for service and they found a transmission issue. The dealer notified Endurance and a rep was sent to the dealer to review. The claim was denied because the tires on the truck were not the same as the original equipment (low profile), and even though they were within specs for the truck, the claim was denied. I could pay a $500 upcharge, but this claim is denied. My first... Read More

My husband and I had a warranty and cancelled it after being denied for a timing repair that was said to be do to wear and tear on a vehicle that had over 100,000 miles on it when we purchased the ONLY policy that we qualified for because of the AMOUNTS of miles on it... when I called to question what they expect from cars with these amount of miles on them, two representatives, Charles ( that wouldn't give me information to speak with someone other than him and was suppose to email us a denial letter within 2 business days on Dec 5th that we still haven't received to date) and Jon both said had no sensible explanation other that I'm not a mechanic... and Jon even said that we should... Endurance is giving me the run around and does not want to cover my transmission repair! On February 1, 2018(Thursday) I took my vehicle(2007 Nissan Murano) to my repair facility who diagnosed an issue with my transmission. Endurance sent out an inspector the next day(Friday) who drove my vehicle, felt the hesitation in the transmission, heard the noise and saw the diagnostic code that the repair technician found. I thought things were moving forward and my car was getting repaired. On Tuesday February 6, my service adviser called to let me know that my claim is on hold because Endurance is questioning the maintenance schedule on the transmission service. I call Endurance and... THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. Do not purchase a warranty from Endurance you will be wasting your money. I have now had two instances where my vehicle needed repair and Endurance denied it. These parts were listed under the covered parts list in the Endurance warranty booklet and they made every excuse as to why they wont cover the repair. Please do not waste your money on this company it is a true scam!

Endurance does not like to warranty high mileage vehicles directly, they outsource these vehicles to low rated 3rd party warranty companies without letting customers know during the call. My 2010 Honda Accord EX had about 73K miles and they outsourced the warranty to Interstate National Dealer Services, which denied my claim over $83.00. Endurance did not inform me during the call that they are farming my service to a third party... I found out when it was time to file a claim (# 2039966BRR) when they informed me to read the fine print on the contract. Endurance should tell their customers during the time of the call that they are offering a contract via a 3rd party - they let the... Read More

Watch out!! Have had endurance for 8 months.put in a claim for a air pump that made my 2012 tundra check engine light come on and 4 lo light flashing. 3 days later a rep shows up at garage saying water got into it and denied the claim as a "act of god" now I am into it for $2000 plus the 6 days of car rental waiting for them to inspect claim.
