Home Service Club’s base-level 12 month home warranties start with a minimum annual premium of $400.

Coverage is not dependent on a home inspection, and this price point is slightly on the higher side of the industry standard.
With that in mind, they do offer a 30 day pro-rated cancellation policy, minus a $45 dollar administration fee.

Cancellation Policy

The customer may cancel the HSC service agreement for any reason within the first thirty 30 days following the date of purchase and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred by HSC and an administrative fee of up to $45.

After 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45.

This contract may be canceled by HSC for nonpayment of contract fee, fraud or misrepresentation by the customer, by agreement between client and company, or if the customer threatens to harm or does harm the safety or well-being of HSC, their property, employees or contractors.

HSC may cancel the contract without reason at any time in the first 30 days following its effective date.

If HSC cancels the contract within the first 30 days, the customer will not be charged an administrative fee and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred.

If HSC cancels the contract after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45.

Home Service Club’s service fees can range between $65 and $125. Although both their waiting and service recall periods are set at 30 days, no service records are required for maintenance.

Once those 30 days are up, their 24/7 claims department is always ready to connect customers with their in-network contractors.

-$499.99 annual contract price paid in full for Home Warranty. My bank shows the transaction was processed 1/11/2021. -Approximately 30 + days after (February) I had a problem with my dishwasher and contacted HSC regarding. I was VERY dissatisfied with the suggested solution: No service person would come out, I was to shop for a new one at Lowe's and provide them the information on the item. I would receive about $100 credit ( which they would pay directly to Lowe’s and I would be responsible for the difference. I opted to cancel the contract instead. Seems like a lot of these reviews here are fake, because some of them are written very similar. Please look at other sites for reviews as well to get a better picture of real people's opinions. I have not had a good experience and am changing to a different warranty company. The customer service people are nice enough. The fine print in your contract makes it so they "don't cover" the majority of common repair issues

Do not waste your money and do not expect any service from this. I had two contracts with them and it cost me around $1000 and I received ZERO service from them. The customer service is awful. The technician who work for them are not trained properly and they just come to collect $75 service fee and for not doing the job they make excuses for not doing the job. My cloth washer had a safety pin in its drainage pump and I even did not get service for that. I had to call a reputable company to fix it for $139.00 for me.
