Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Tremendously helpful for an older man like myself who is not home repair savy. It saves me money from being ripped off by contractors who have in the past tried taking advantage of me. So thanks for all of that!

Just got my claim accepted for approval and it was as easy as anything to work through. When I get house problems they covered my pool, appliances, roof et all at a good price.

STAY AWAY!!! They are a rip off!!! Got them 2 mos ago. 1st claim ac tech came feon leak & Select decline my claim. Had to spend $6600.00 on a new ac. 2nd claim clothes washer tech came front loader machine belt & main circle spin & Select says they will give me $150 to fix it & its $800. Spent $962.00 on new washer. They have a LOT of catches on their contact. Plus their customer service is from over seas.

Nothing is covered. They will find a way to exclude claim. I will cancel my policy.

Earlier I had a problem with my dishwasher and the service call department helped move things along. My experience was mad smoother by the manager getting involved in 24 hours. Thanks a lot!

After I came back from my vacation I found that the air was bad from the fans breaking down that I left on. My claim entitled me to a free repair that I received and the process service was excellent.

Worse Company - Living in DFW area in mid of August ,with a baby in the house, my A/C broke down it needed a fix worth $150 dollars - After approx. 2 weeks of futile phone calls I gave up hired another technician and got it fixed. I lost $65 I paid to the tech send by this SHW for his useless visit. My 2nd request- I requested for an electrician to fixing a bad switch - 4 days and still not fixed. This is my 1st and Last Experience with SHW - Please be aware SHW will provide to terms and conditions after you enter into a contract -Cancellation fee is $75

Nightmare! I told SHW that I lived in a rural place before I bought this. Lpw and behold they can't find a tech. The call center will only say to find my own tech even after I have told them I do not know one. Can't give me the number to upper management either. Save your money.

My large yard has a built in sprinkler that sprung a leak after an animal chewed it(I am guessing). What was great was the damages and repair were all covered under my additional service coverage.

There strong point is certainly how accurate they are with timing appointments and having available handy men and companies in the area, never did I have a longer wait than 2 weeks on any of my many claims.
