Byte offers patients who need minor to moderate alignment enjoy a better smile at a reasonable cost, without having to visit the orthodontist frequently. Byte's aligners are made of BPA-free plastic that gradually shift teeth into straighter alignment. To qualify for treatment, consumers complete an impression mold of their teeth at home or schedule an in-office scan with a Byte affiliated dentist. If the patient's teeth qualify for treatment, these digital scans are used to generate a custom treatment plan. Customers can see a 3D model of what their smile could look like after treatment. Once approved, patients then purchase a full treatment package, composed of multiple aligners they will change every week. At the end of the treatment, a free set of retainers is provided to retain the alignment (recommended 6-month wear time)

BAD EXPERIENCE!!! I went thru the process and got the financing step, a rep walked me thru every and I was approved. Literally the same I received an email from Byte stating that they could not provide me with aligners due to my teeth crowding and that a refund would be issued within 5-7 business days. I contacted the lender 2 weeks later and they had not received the refund. It is a month now and still no refund received and it is impossible to get anyone on the phone. I emailed them and they stated the refund was issued but again lender has not received anything.

TL:DR: Not worth it. Sure, its cheaper than traditional options, but in the long run you might find yourself having to get traditional braces because Byte cannot fix your smile. It takes forever to hear back from customer service, and when you do, it still takes weeks to receive any new aligners needed. I would absolutely NOT recommend Byte. I had initially reviewed Byte, giving them 5 stars. However, they ask for reviews from people very early on. I think this is how they maintain very good ratings, and most people probably do not bother updating their review if things go wrong somewhere down the line. I have repeatedly asked for a refund for an impression kit that was held by USPS due to the wrong return address being used on the package that I received. When I notified the consultant of this he basically ignored my emails, texts and calls for 2 weeks before emailing me with a treatment plan? When I got over the delay and entire debacle he says I cannot be refunded for my kit. I sent multiple requests for support and nothing was done. Don't waste your time and money with a service that disregards your experiences and does not address your grievances. There are many other businesses that offer aligners.

I am very unhappy with my experience. My bottom teeth are crowded, I paid in FULL at the beginning, I was told I can wear them only at night, but instead of switching aligners once a week, it will be once every two weeks. Well, that did not really work. I went through all the pain but saw very very minimal results after almost a year. I think byte might be mostly suitable for people who need very minimal adjustments, and mostly gaps in teeth, not overcrowdings. They also give you a 3D model of what to expect your teeth to look like AFTER you are done with your aligners which is not true. For example, I have one tooth on my jaw that is a bit sunken into my gum line, the 3D model they gave... Read More

Pros: The system eventually works and it's the only aligner I could find that you wear at night. Wearing at night versus the day is amazing. Cons: 1. I'm almost 9 months in and my teeth are finally able to fit in my retainers. Maybe it's my teeth, but the plan is made to switch out aligners once a week. It took me an average of 4-6 weeks per aligner before my teeth could fit in the next one. 2. The sales process could have been better. Their phone number on their website was out of service, so email was the only option. My sales rep kept forgetting who I was and I got sent someone else's alignment plan. 3. I am exactly half way through my treatment plan, and I am very pleased with the entire Byte experience so far. I started noticing my teeth straightening fairly early on which is amazing to me. I am super excited to see the final results in the coming months! I highly recommend Byte!!

I'm now on Week 12, and I can feel a difference on my teeth. I can tell they really care about their patients/customers as they check in on you when they think it's almost time for your next batch of aligners. They also make sure that you're on top of your treatment and ready for your next batch before sending them to you. Customer service is excellent. The aligners themselves fit great. I didn't experience any pain, only pressure on my teeth as they pushed them in place. Honestly, my treatment took longer than what was planned, but it was because there were days when I wasn't wearing the aligners for the recommended hours. Consistency is key to being on top of your treatment plan.

I'm on week 11 and I'm impressed with my progress so far! The process has actually been easier than I expected. I've had no pain from the aligners or the shifting of my teeth, and the foaming cleaner seems to be helping whiten them a bit. I've been overly cautious about shifting my teeth too quickly, therefore I've been keeping each set of aligners in for closer to two weeks instead of the recommended 1 week time frame...I can't wait to see the end results 😁
