Ben and his team were so accommodating, polite, and willing to help. They packed the truck TO THE BRIM! The team was so quick, efficient, wrapped our furniture and tv/fragile pieces in blankets and plastic, and handled everything with care. When we got to the new apartment, his team even asked me where it'd like each piece to be, which I feel is them going above and beyond. If I ever move again, I will definitely hire these guys. They were very professional.
Safe Ship were very understanding of our situation and their cheerful nature removed a lot of the stress. Eventually we hired them again to move us from storage to our new house in Allentown, PA. Everything was intact with no damages at all which is great considering the double move. The crew put everything in the right places and covered carpets with protectors. We are very grateful to the Safe Ship team and would recommend them to anyone looking to move.
These guys are great! Moved me 3 times in 6 years. Always on time, careful with my belongings, and fast as possible! Their rates are reasonable, and they're personable and attentive. I'm anticipating moving again, and I fully intend to hire them again. They really provided me excellent service all the time, which I can’t expect from other movers!
DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORDS. We moved from salt lake to Alpharetta. They will leave no chance to get you booked saying the best in moving industry and they have best rating and competitive price in the location. They missed 2 pick up dates(we gave dates 3 days prior to flight date) and came to pick up on our travel date. Never cared of warning 20 times to not to do that. They got the things on time but damaged our sofa sets(They did not cover them while transporting), bookshelves and lost our expensive chair. . Last month I suddenly had to move to California from NJ because of my work. I’m really glad it went with Safe Ship, from my consultation with rachel on the phone all the way to my move everything went smoothly. Their team showed up on time and they even helped me back some items because I wasn’t finished yet. Their packing was way better than mine lol. They loaded up everything pretty quick and before they actually drove off I double checked everything to make sure it was good and sure enough everything was there and placed firmly. Moving is stressful, especially when you're a single mom with 3 kids. I decided to go with a moving company this time around because it is just too difficult to pack and load everything myself. When I came across Safe Ship I spoke to a gentleman named Jesse, he told me that they were a broker. I obviously had no clue what that meant, so he explained to me that they have over 300 moving companies, and they lock in my rate. Once he told me that I was sold.
They were on time and ready to work. They moved quickly and efficiently and handled our stuff with care. They came with a 4-man crew. Most of the time was on the front end, since large furniture was wrapped up carefully and was taken down from the 3rd floor. And the load into the new place was super quick. It took about 3 hours total. They did a great job and would definitely use them again. But hopefully we will not have to move again for a while.
No way DO NOT use this company! Once they have your stuff they don’t even call you back. I’ve been waiting for weeks for my things to be delivered. Do not make the same mistake I did. And do not trust Miles Cook everything he told me was a lie.
These people can talk the talk and make everything sound so great...they'll take $1200-1500 of your money to set you up with some crappy movers! Sent them their down payment which goes to THEM, and only set you up with an actual mover! The one they sent me want more money, another $1800+ to move everything we had on the itemized list they made out! Then when they moved about 1/3 of my stuff,, the mover went in and BROKE a Credenza by standing it on the end with only 2 legs, lifted from the cabinet end and broke the legs off! Safe Ship is a life saver, the company that I originally booked with cancelled on me 5 days before our agreed upon scheduled move date. I was nervous that my landlord would try and charge me extra rent for the possibility of me having to stay in my condo for an extra few days because of the cancellation. Being an elderly person, I can't physically move the boxes by myself. Packing and wrapping my stuff quickly becomes tiresome with this 90 degree weather; I packed, wrapped, and taped 3 boxes by myself but felt like I was going to have a heat stroke after doing that small amount.
