I dont want to move, im way too lazy to move. I made a checklist of stuff I need to do to start the next chapter of my life. Everyone in my neighborhood got eminent domain. So im forced to leave asasp. I quickly realized that I dont want to go through the effort to buy boxes, decide want to keep or throw away. find somewhere to dispose of my bigger items like furniture. then properly pack my items together. I started to just throw items in the local dumpster but my HOA fined me. So I started throwing my stuff at the dumpster behind mcdonalds, I got caught doing that after the 3rd time. I selected Western Van lines for two reasons-price and an agent with Safe Ship, a national transportation company. Little did I know, their: customer service, communication, professionalism, and service were all top notch. The process was simple, smooth, and unencumbered. Even during the sales process, I felt reassured. I never had any doubt this would be a breeze. At every stage of the move, I was well informed. In fact, I was usually kept up to date by not only the office but the driver of my furnishings. My hats off to Rachel,Max,and Kevin. Sorry, I can’t recall the three movers that pick up my belongings. I booked with Safe Ship Moving Services back in August. They set me up with a great moving team and I am glad I found them. It is a great relief to be in my new home in Texas surrounded by my family and belongings again. If you have special needs for your move call Safe Ship they will design the move to fit your needs. Not only did they do an amazing job at pickup they also split my payments into three payments and gave me thirty days of storage while I looked for my forever home in Texas. Thank You to all the men and woman that helped my family. 5 star moving experience for sure
Moved from California to Reno to be closer to family. I was hired for a job and needed to sell my house and move quicker than we thought. We called sawgrass a week before the move after getting a ton of calls. They were the only company who were honest and gave me potential costs before asking them. We chose them based on that and never feeling pressured to pay the deposit as the other moving companies were relentless about getting a credit card. Turned out to be a great move. Thank you!
I had an absolutely horrible experience working with safe ship. First of all, when we were given the estimate, they did not tell us that they were a moving BROKER and not the one doing the move. After booking, a random moving company that we knew nothing about (Primavera Movers) showed up to our home. It started with the company increasing our original estimate by $2,000 AFTER loading all of our belongings on the moving truck which is against the law. They then went on to try to scam us out of $600+ dollars for "extra material" costs that we did not approve or agree to. I spent 3 hrs on the phone with them and the moving broker just for them to take only $300 off and say they would work... Read More
've used these guys for three moves. They were the best price in each instance. They were also willing to do the most to schedule a move on the time and date that I needed. They were also focused on trying to do it in a way that saves me money. I will use these guys every time in the future
I had to relocate back to nj to visit my father in the hospital. He doesnt have much time left so i scrambled around the internet and eventually found this company through a forum I found on google. I didnt have any time or resources to pack my studio or decide what i wanted to keep or throw away. This company found a moving company for me to pack and ship everything I own. They even packed and wrapped my all in one cpu monitor. I bought my ps5 on the plane with me. Safe Ship has been the best moving company, that I have worked with. I have moved 4 times in the 12 years, I'm in the military so every few years I relocate to a new base to train more soldiers. I have used 2 other companies for the other times I've moved. After the lengthy booking process. Safe Ship gave me a delivery window of 4 days, and I received the contents of my studio in 2 days. I didn't move far from my my old home in the big apple so the transit time should be low
From beginning to end one of the best experiences I've had from office staff to crew. No Problems, on time and did everything we needed. Could not ask for better. Great team of guys. Worked hard to get us moved. Didn't damage anything. It took a little longer and cost a little more, but I didn't mind paying for the convenience of someone else carrying and delivering my furniture. Would use again or refer to a friend. The 2 young men were awesome. I felt bad because the mosquitoes were out as well. They handled themselves professionally and was very efficient.
Drivers on both sides were fantastic- Crews on both sides great but destination crew was literally the best I've ever seen- care for our belongings, amazing attitude, care for our home, great communication. Origin crew was great-managed well but a lot of guys and not so intuitive - Sales agent was correct on his communications up front and quote was accurate and moderate. A small crew for our 3400 sq ft home plus garage, were so professional and calming. Our new house at 4,000' altitude with a difficult driveway- one single door for 3 stories and no garage- so our tools and garage cabinets had to go to the bottom floor- these 3 handled every step with poise like I've never seen.
