I went to the chiropractor yesterday, my boss was kind enough to pay for it. When I went home, every pain I have ever had in my entire life came back. And I was supposed to spend the next week packing my stuff. I am in so much pain, I dont even have the energy throw my stuff in the trash. So I googled what I can do to handle my stuff, originally I was going to rent a dumpster, to dispose of my goods but then I would have to hire laborers and then I called a long distance moving company. I'd like to share my moving experience with Safe Ship moving. I knew I was dealing with the right company, the moment I spoke with Brendan. He responded to all of my questions in a very professional manner that made me feel very relaxed, and we have scheduled an in-home estimate for my relocation. Their estimator came to my house and went over all of the important information with me, making a detailed list and explaining every part of the move. This moving company provided me with the best service. I came to Georgia to relocate a friend and had a terrifying nightmare. I was nervous about moving my youngest daughter, someone from my family recommended me to safe ship moving to help me get moved into my new life before the Christmas season begins. We have had bad experiences using other companies in the past. Safe Ship has been the best moving company I have used and I have booked with other 5 companies over the past 11 years. Safe Ship did a phone estimate of my inventory. Movers (not actual safe ship workers, but a company contracted by safe shop to do the job) showed up on moving day and tried to tell me that my cubic footage was double then what was given over the phone. I expected a small change as I am aware that uneven items and things like moving blankets take up space. But not double. Additionally, I removed 2 large items from the move that were on the initial estimate. The mover tried to say my stuff was 1300 cubic feet. And the original estimate was 600. I ended up telling the movers to leave and I went with another company. Actual cubic footage with the new company was 700 cubic feet. So safe... Read More
I'm sick of the cold so I'm leaving the North for good. I've been living in Billings my entire life and its time for a scenery change. I really am sick of it because I contracted the flu again. I wanted to move this week but I'm going to put off my move for a few weeks until I recover. Yesterday was the fourth day in a row where I just slept all day and barely had the energy to get out of bed. Since I have been bed ridden all week, I came to the easy conclusion that it will be practically impossible for me to do any moving alone. Safe Ship moving has been on the job since the first time we talked. They asked me questions about pieces that I would never have thought of asking. This is their day-to-day work, and they were open about any possible charges. I was able to have everything ready and wrapped so that the movers, cita van lines, could come in and get to work properly. The attention to detail impressed me. I spoke with several companies, but none were as highly regarded as Safe Ship Moving.
The movers were extremely careful in handling our antique furniture and ornaments. They had their own packing materials and boxes so all of the items were safely transported to the designated location and even labelled with tags- very thoughtful. I had my concerns, I admit, but luckily it all went smoothly.- from packing and loading to transporting and unloading, everything was done in a professional and efficient manner. Thank you for your diligent job and considerate attitude.
First, the price was right. There were no hidden fees and a very straightforward, easy to read quote that stood apart from other companies. The sales rep, Alan, was very helpful. Second, their response time to my calls and email were fast. I will be recommending them to anyone who needs movers! Lastly, day of the move, the handymen notified me when they were about 20 minutes away from their scheduled pickup. They arrived and started loading their truck in a professional manner. After they loaded their truck I received my belongings in Phoenix 5 days later.
Safe Ship moving was the cheapest and easiest and they had good customer service. They weren't too aggressive in contacting me before making a reservation with their company. On moving day, I was extremely nervous about going as I had never used movers before. I was contacted 25 minutes before they arrived, so I could leave work and meet them at my place. My movers were fantastic, and helpful and made the process easy and flawless. I set aside too much stuff that I would take on my own, but after talking with the guys, they told me not to worry and moved everything.
I want to thank everyone at safe ship moving for their excellence and the whole attentive team that assisted me in moving from one state to another. I had lived at the same location for the past 20 years and had never moved. They supported me on my emotional journey. I'm grateful to see a company whose employees are sincere and concerned about their customers. From the bottom of my boxes and personal treasures, thank you
