Quostodio offers comprehensive parental monitoring tools at a very good price. It works across nearly all platforms and operating systems and is configurable to specific needs. Although it only offers annual pricing, its charges are among the lowest in the industry on a per-month basis. The company doesn't offer real-time ways for customers to contact it, but it does have a well-developed support section on its website. The service it provides is solid all around, but is especially well-suited to larger families and/or to families who have a large number of online devices.

We tried Qustodio for two months. The results were inconsistent, sometimes it worked, sometimes it would say my child was not online and I was looking at him online. It locked up his iPhone X repeatedly and it would not monitor texting. I believe one issue was tracking between an iPhone and Android. I tried it based on recommendations but finally gave up. When it did work, it was very good and provided great analytics.

Set this up in April after researching various options. It wasn't perfect but I thought it was worth trying. Today I am in despair. If I could give a negative review I would. Today's 'last straw' issue: My son is trying to use his laptop in a computer coding class at 2:15pm. He has called me since he is locked out. I reset to allow him 23:45 hours of usage today - it still says his time has expired. I take off all time usage limits. It still won't let him on. Previous issues which have worn me down: - support sucks. Poor customer support in the sense that there is no way to have a real-time dialogue which is very frustrating when there is a technical problem needing resolved immediately. The app is glitchy and did not perform well for me and required me to reach out to customer support by email, then wait on their reply and day later, then follow instructions on their email to successfully install on my apple devices. It was not an easy seamless installation process. Once installed it did not perform correctly on my apple I-pad device and I opted to just delete it and start my search again for a better product instead of dealing with the inadequate customer support platform. i have used it for a year and have been happy with it. i can have phone disabled while kids are in school, but they can still contact me. i can monitor & limit their screen time.
