WebWatcher is an excellent parental monitoring app, allowing parents to monitor a device discretely from a secure online account. It is compatible with all 5 key operating systems (Android, iOS, PC, Mac & Chromebook). WebWatcher's stand-out feature is its Alert Log tool. This feature scans all recorded data and uses proprietary filters to identify and highlight items deemed to be risky behavior. Parents receive real-time alerts of all identified risky behavior, which means they can focus their attention on only important items. All recorded data is available for review at any time, but it is up to the parent to decide how much they want to see. The company also offers 24/7 customer service via phone, e-mail and live chat, to ensure the best experience for their customers.

Heed the negative warnings other reviewers are giving. I tried installing this on my son's computer that was being lent to him for the year. Webwatcher's site specifically says you don't need rooting pivileges to use the software. Ah, what they don't tell you is that they consider rooting privileges to be different than admin privileges, which you do need. I couldn't get the software to function as a result, and after repeated attempts to get this resolved, they were unwilling to offer any kind of refund and kept repeating the same lines other reviewers are listing here. It's crazy to me that they would rather get all these negative reviews than offer customers refunds that they deserve.... Read More

Initial setup went well.. though took over an hour. Once complete, all messages, photos, etc were synced to account. After that, however, syncing stopped. I have wifi on laptop and iphone connected to same ID and nothing changed... except program stopped syncing. I went to live chat (as they instructed) to have them connect remotely and no one entered the chat. They claim to have "24/7 support" but that's either a lie or they're purposely ignoring me, not willing to fix issue. They left me stuck with software that doesn't work. I will be filing a chargeback with Mastercard directly as I have all screenshots of our communication and the interface not syncing. I'll get my money back within... Read More
