Had technicians at my home yesterday to fix dishwasher. One guy approached me about buying a Sears Home Warranty for $50/mo. to cover all appliances. I declined b/c I couldn't afford it. In just 20 mins they did repair dishwasher. It was a loose wire in the control board. Terry told me my bill would be $228. I couldn't believe it...I asked does that include parts or is it just labor. He said it was trip charge and labor. He then said he could cut the bill in half (which is what it should have been) if I signed up for the Home Warranty. That is outright extortion!! I will never, ever call this company for any repairs EVER!! What a Ripoff!!

My brand new $2,000 LG oven is not working. I had to spend over an hour on the phone with LG to finally get them to send out someone for repair. A & E is who they use. They can not get anyone out for two weeks for a service call. I will have no oven for two weeks after spending all that money. AND A & E will not give us a time window in which they will be here on the day of service. I have to take a whole day off of work to wait for them. I work in the service industry and that is ludicrous. They should be able to at least tell us morning or afternoon. They claim I can call that morning and they should be able to tell me morning or afternoon, but I can not wait until that morning... Read More

This company is useless. My refrigerator was not cooling/freezing well at all. They came to my home three times and never did a single thing! The same female tech. came each time: first time, she focussed on us cutting holes for ventilation, keeping our home at 72 degrees, tilting the refrigerator 1/2" back off level, wiping the gaskets with vaseline, placing 2 x 4s behind the unit, having a dedicated plug....yeah, that's why the ice is melting! Too bad there is no zero star. My LG fridge was broken (room temperature!). So for warranty repair LG seems to be using A&E. The first time they just replaced the compressor (seems LG has lots of problems with these). The fridge was still the same. So I called and LG reschedule the appointment with A&E for a week later. Then the A&E guy says his truck was broken! What? They rescheduled it for a week later. Guess what, this time the technician was too busy to come. So the best they can do is a week later. I escalated to their manager who can't do anything for me and tried to hang up. I repeatedly asked to be escalated further for like 10~20 minutes w/o any results. Searching on the internet... If only it was possible to describe to you with words how terrible this company is, I can't find proper words to tell you how far you should run from them, if I had the time and money to sue this company and I would put every effort to it. Our $5000 fridge broke 2 years after we bought it, it took those about 40 days to repair that, but year later the fridge isn't working again, so now they have to repair it for free. First of all, it took them 20 days to come by to look at it, the first technician was in our house for 5 min, when he decided what's wrong with the fridge and he ordered a part and said we can't come by for another 20 days. Your technicians are great but you need to get it together when it comes to where they are going. You send them to a customer without the proper information. As an apartment complex they should be given a unit number as well as a building number. You also need to contact the customer at least 24hrs PRIOR to the appointment in order to allow access to an occupied unit. There is a major disconnect between GE and A & E! Someone is dropping the ball BIG TIME and this results in disgruntled customers and frazzled technicians. Please get it together and be more accurate so it isn't a waste of time for the customer as well as your technicians.

I would rate this a ZERO if I could. This company is a joke. No one can speak clear english on the phone. The technician ordered the wrong part, came back picked up the part and now customer service says the part has been discontinued. It's a plastic shelf and I found it on Amazon for $25.00 cheaper. Now I can not get them to refund my money $58.65. The last person I spoke with said someone from "refunds" will call me in 7 business days. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

Terrible service. My fridge has been out since may 2, 2019. The tech has been out 8-9 times and my fridge is still not working. Each time I have to wait 2 - 4 weeks for an appointment. Today the tech showed up, I went and unlock the door he used the last time he was here (8/27) but when I looked out again he was gone. He never called me or came to the door. I've been on the phone all day with a couple of manager and 3 other people. Now i'm being told that I have to wait until October 1! I can't believe it. I will not be renewing my contract. Please stay away from these people.

We were required to use your services in the Montross, Virginia area for service on our LG refrigerator purchased from Lowes in Tappahannock under an extended warranty. After having to wait almost 3 WEEKS for a technician, he told us the problem someone left a door ajar, causing ice to build on a fan. He removed the ice, checked the gaskets (the fridge was only 18 months old), stayed about 20 minutes and said all was fine. The very next day, the problem returned. When we contacted the repair service supplied through A&E, we were told we had to wait for over 2 weeks for a return visit ! We contacted Lowes again, and they attempted to expedite service.
