EasyCare is a sound choice for automobile service plans. The company offers a broad array of service contract options, ranging from bare-bones plans that cover little more than the engine and drivetrain all the way up to plans that cover almost everything. The company began as a warranty management service to automobile manufacturers and has substantial experience in the field. It summarizes its contracts in both inclusive and exclusionary terms. It has a solid reputation with the BBB and has partnered with other reputable companies.

The list of covered systems and parts provided on the company's website is remarkably detailed. EasyCare's lower three plans are stated in inclusionary terms, i.e., lists of what is covered. Its top-tier plan, however, is stated in both inclusionary and exclusionary terms. That top-tier plan appears to be very thorough and to exclude only cosmetic items and a few specialty components.

Claims & Repairs

Claims & Repairs - 3.5 / 5

The company provides few details of its claim procedures. It states that repairs must be done at a "licensed" repair facility, an ambiguous requirement that consumers may wish to clarify before purchasing a service plan. It is also unclear from the company's publications whether customers have any obligation to maintain a vehicle maintenance log or other documentation.

EasyCare was amazing. Got the TotalCare package when I purchased my 2021 Ram. At 79k miles my ECM went bad causing my EGR to go out. EasyCare gave no hassle to the dealership about getting it covered. I paid the deductible and was on my way. I plan on extending my package and I'll never buy a new vehicle without the additional coverage. Thank you EasyCare.

After receiving news of a hefty repair bill for my 2013 lexus, i was very happy to have no kickback from EasyCare as they quickly assessed and approved all the repairs, with no excuses or surpri$es. Definitely happy to have a warranty that works for me.

Service techs were on time, polite. Knowledgeable, Collected the solar panels and started installation. Batteries were weak from setting on the store shelf and techs removed and we charged until they needed to reinstall. Explained settings to narrow monitoring distance. All complete. Thanks.

I bought an EasyCare extended warranty when I purchased my used Acura in 2015. Because I had the manufacturer’s warranty, I didn’t need it right away, and when I went to use it I discovered that the dealer’s SNAFU had not activated the warranty. Unfortunately, the dealer was out of business by then (little wonder!). I contacted EasyCare and provided all of my documentation and they honored my warranty. Fast forward to 2021 and the warranty terms are close to expiration and I have decided to keep the car. I contacted EasyCare to renew and was given satisfactory terms to extend my warranty for three more years. Why? EasyCare gave me honest and ethical treatment and they have honored every... My experience with apple jeep was awesome it went smooth and I could not have asked for better service from easy care and jeep everything was repaired and fixed in a timely manor and I saved well over the price it cost to buy easy care! Highly recommend purchasing this when you get a used vehicle! Wish it offered more then 36,000 miles though

This is a warranty that actually works!!! I did not believe it with all the warranty scams but when my son drive sharer went out on his 2015 Dodge challenger they paid the high repair cost immediately and we only paid the deductible! So happy we purchased this warranty. We truly thank you 🙏

Do not pay for any EasyCare products. You will be paying money to be angry down the road. Honest truth. I hit a pot hole in Atlanta which resulted in a large bulge in my tire which only had 8000 miles on it. Everyone is aware that this is a dangerous tire situation. EasyCare would not replace the tire because it wasn't leaking air. I guess they want it to blow out and hurt or kill somebody and Theeeen they will replace it. There are many stories as ridiculous as this. You are going to pay anyway so don't get scammed and pay for what you need twice.

EasyCare Car Warranty is a rip off!!! I recently had my wiring harness destroyed by a squirrel and they will not cover it so if anything happens to your vehicle that is not a manufacturer defect as I was informed then it is not covered.

They will leave you stranded. Literally. I got a flat tire and called for roadside assistance since my card that I downloaded straight from the EasyCare website said my coverage lasted until 2024. When I called they said that I no longer had coverage, and the date on the policy card was incorrect due to a glitch in their system. Instead of offering to pay the $78 for roadside assistance to make up for their own mistake, they left me stranded on the side of the road for 3 hours until a family member was able to help. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Do not use Easycare for anything, avoid them and don't get sucked into using this company by the sales people at the dealerships. Easycare makes it purposefully difficult to file a GAP claim in hopes that you will forget about it or give up so they won't have to pay. They require A LOT of paperwork (More than my insurance company who paid off the majority of the total loss). I sent a large amount of documents via e-mail and never received any communication back. I decided to call and apparently they did receive the documents AND i had an open claim but they didn't take the time to contact me back. On top of that I needed even more paperwork but I never would have known had I not called.... Read More
