Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

We started with a fan capacitor going out in the furnace unit. It took 5 weeks to get this handled during this time the Condenser went out due to access pressure on the unit waiting for the Furnace unit to be replaced. Instead of using the same service technician that replaced the furnace and had trouble shot the condenser you made me us another ( inept company) technician who took 4.5 weeks to replace the condenser. Once the weather cooled we went to turn on the heater only to find out it would not warm. The technician was very helpful and experienced. He was very respectful and provided great advice.
My scheduled was for Tuesday the provider had an opening on Monday which I excepted. He arrived on time but your system would not permit him to access the system for approval. Tuesday time slot was filled. Rescheduled for Wednesday. Your email said I could schedule a different time which seems not to be true. I have very good claims with your company this was very troublesome. Please fix your system. Thank you.

Mr. Boyd came to my home after a visit from Mr. Quik.
Everything they said was wrong with my furnace was not true. Mr. Boyd showed me that it all wasn't true. It was a relief to find out it was all false. Thank you for a second opinion.
After running into some breakdowns at home, I remembered that I had purchased a home warranty from Choice. I was impressed with how simple the claim process was and how quick they were able to send a technician out. Saved me a lot of time, money, and headaches!
Technician was polite, on time - just wished he could have resolved the HVAC issue in one visit. Gonna get cold this week!

He did a good job, but I had to pay 40.00 for a second remote, when I had 2 remotes with original unit. He used a different part then was ordered which required a new remote. To make me whole ,I should have been given 2 remotes.
the technician was very good, and after speaking with Nevada I am pleased with the results, and I’m working on my microwave replacement.
The previous manager, Lydia Colbert, ex.3673, was not very helpful, she did not give me any options , she definitely needs a refresher course in customer relations. After speaking with Nevada, who gave me suggestions as to how I could get my microwave sooner, I felt relived and grateful that CHOICE had the wisdom to hire someone as competent as Nevada, a problem solver, and people person. Thank you so much.
