Choice Home Warranty offers existing homeowners two plans, each of which cover a mix of systems and appliances. The primary difference between its Total plan and its Basic plan is that refrigerators, washers and dryers, and air conditioning systems are not included in the Basic Plan. Optional coverage for such items as pools and spas, well pumps, and septic systems is available for an additional fee. We requested a quote for a single family home of less than 5000 square feet in a small midwestern city. The premium for Choice Home Warranty's Basic was $47.85 per month and the premium for its Total pan was $54.95 per month. With the cost difference between the two plans being only about $7 per month, to our mind, the Total plan a better value overall because it includes coverage for three of the most common appliances: refrigerators, washers, and dryers. It also includes coverage for air conditioning systems.

The company's co-pay for a service call is $85, slightly less than most comparable companies. The co-pay may be reduced further with special discounts and promotions.

Cancellation Policy

The contract shall be non-cancelable by the company except for nonpayment of contract fees or service fees, fraud or misrepresentation of facts by the customer, or by agreement between client and company. Customers may cancel within the first 30 days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees. If canceled after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by the company.

I have been using Choice Home Warranty for four years now. I had several failures in my heating system, refrigerator, and microwave. Choice has a simple and efficient web-based service request submission system. I usually receive a quick response with an assigned repair company, and it takes a couple of days for someone to show up. They can usually repair the problem on the first visit unless they don't have a required part in which case they return for another visit without pay. On the last problem we had with our GE refrigerator, Choice used a GE service technician which is always the best. My over-the-range microwave was not heating, and an element needed to be replaced. Choice decided it was cheaper for them to replace the microwave, but they only allowed us $191. My microwave is over $600, and it costs $160 just to have someone install it. The lady tells me the microwave is on sale on the GE website, but they are giving me a gift card for Lowe's, so how is that helpful? I switched from AHS thinking Choice was better; that was a big mistake.

The technician was very knowledgeable took his time and after a couple of hours found the problem and fixed it refrigerator is working fine for now it wasn't the worst experience but it was pretty bad waiting without Refrigeration for a whole week until the technician showed up so if you can improve that you'd be a better company no fun to live 5 minutes without electric Refrigeration thank you Tech was excellent courteous just a nice guy you're lucky to have them truly yours Stan

All American Appliance technician "Colby" was sent to my home for washer repair. Colby was very punctual, professional, very well-mannered and explained, /showed me pictures of my washer and its problem's. Colby also explained the process of whether it would be repaired or replaced. Applause to Colby and All American Applicance for a job well done. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

He did an excellent job fixing attic fan , But when coming back out to the stairs coming down into the garage knocked 2 big holes in drywall ceiling That I am having fixed, won't now the cost till they come and finish the work???? If I know you all that well you won't offer any compensation for the fixing the ceiling?????
