Choice Home Warranty offers existing homeowners two plans, each of which cover a mix of systems and appliances. The primary difference between its Total plan and its Basic plan is that refrigerators, washers and dryers, and air conditioning systems are not included in the Basic Plan. We requested a quote for a single family home of less than 5000 square feet in a small midwestern city. The premium for Choice Home Warranty's Basic was $47.85 per month and the premium for its Total pan was $54.95 per month. With the cost difference between the two plans being only about $7 per month, to our mind, the Total plan a better value overall because it includes coverage for three of the most common appliances: refrigerators, washers, and dryers. It also includes coverage for air conditioning systems.

The company's co-pay for a service call is $85, slightly less than most comparable companies. The co-pay may be reduced further with special discounts and promotions.

Cancellation Policy

The contract shall be non-cancelable by the company except for nonpayment of contract fees or service fees, fraud or misrepresentation of facts by the customer, or by agreement between client and company. Customers may cancel within the first 30 days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees. If canceled after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by the company.

When you request a repair, Choice jumps right on it. Before you know it the repair man is knocking at your door. I highly recommend Choice Home Warranty for all your home repair needs.

This is my second claim try with this company not happy run around both times now. This run around might end up in a class action suit against your company better get a call real quick from a manager.

Aron from Lonestar Locks went above and beyond to make sure I was safe. He was friendly and knowledgeable and treated me like I was his mother so I was safe. He also made an adjustment to my lock on garage door so it was easier for me to open.

The contact I had with a gentleman- I don't recall his name- was very hurried. I felt the call was going to be cut off before I was able to get the information I needed. I believe the background noise of the others in the room - a call center(?) was very distracting. He did focus & we were able to complete the exchange of information.

The technician that came to my house and checked the A\C did a good job.. He advises me that my A/C need to be replaced. However, am still waiting for the unit to be repair which is taking too long to complete the job. Also, I have paid the coat of replacement with my credit card. Please let me know when the job is going to be completed.

Prompt communication by Choice Warranty in notifying of service vendor & ease of being able to make adjustments in scheduled appointment time. Vendors always come on time & inform when they’re on their way. Service vendor photo is provided to insure safety. Highly recommend Choice Warranty!
