Landmark’s coverage varies by state. Furthermore, there are two plan categories depending on the customer's situation.

The Homeowner Plan is for those who have already owned their house for 30 days. The Real Estate Plan is for new home purchase. The following details regarding coverage and pricing will be examples of the Homeowner Plan.

Like the service fee, Landmark's yearly premium for its Homeowner Plans varies by state.

In Utah, Oregon, and Idaho, choosing the $100 service fee will produce a $350 premium for the Home System Plan, and a $600 premium for the Total Protection Plan. If you were to opt for the $60 service fee, this would increase the Home System Plan premium to $400, and the Total Protection Plan to $650.

In Texas, Nevada, and Arizona, the $100 service fee will yield a $360 premium for the Home Systems Plan, and a $610 premium for the Total Protection Plan. Finally, in these states, choosing the $70 service fee will cost $425 for the Home Systems Plan and $675 for Total Protection.

Landmark has an online quote calculator available on their website, for customers who'd like more specifics. If the policyholder chooses to cancel, Landmark offers a 30-day, full money-back guarantee, with the exception of a $40 administration fee.

Cancellation Policy

a) LHW may not cancel this contract during the initial term for which it was issued, except for any of the following reasons: (1) the contract holder does not pay a fee or charge due under the terms of this contract; (2) the contract holder engages in fraud or misrepresentation of facts material to the issuance of the contract; (3) an interest in the residential property covered under this contract is sold, and the contract is contingent on an interest in the property not being sold. b) If contract is cancelled, homeowner shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $40 administrative fee, and any actual service costs incurred by LHW. If listing coverage is cancelled after service has been performed, and the contract fee has not yet been paid, contract holder will be responsible for purchase of contract, or reimbursement to LHW of service costs incurred, whichever is less. c) Cancellation may be made by Contract Holder at any time. If cancelled within 30 days of acceptance of LHW, and no service request has been made, the Contract Holder is entitled to a full refund of the contract proceeds less an administrative fee of $40. Utah Residents: If Contract is cancelled by us, cancellation will be effective no sooner than 10 days for paragraph A.1, and 30 days for A.2 and A.3 after delivery or 1st class mailing of a written notice to the contract holder.

I received a home warranty from Landmark at the closing of our home purchase. Three months later, we filed a claim on a Friday and a Contract technician arrived Monday afternoon. He opened the outside unit, took a picture of some dirt on the bottom of the panel and said the motor was out due to lack of maintenance. The seller had an inspection and maintenance as he moved out of the house in DEC. The company denied the claim. I called an a/c company from Home Advisor and the Technician quickly determined that it was a capacitor and that it had nothing to do with what the contractor stated. Where do I begin...........Terrible customer service, horrible contractors. I have have been having landmark since I purchased my home in 2015. I did not have any major issues with them up until recently. I did a pre summer tune up on my AC units simply because I had issues with the units last year not cooling. Keep in mind I had no issues with the units prior to the pre-summer tune up. The contractor they sent out stated both units was low on Freon. I kept questioning this because Freon was added to both last August when I was having the issue with them not cooling. Also the evaporator coil was replaced on one unit. We had an AC issue within 24 hours of closing on our new house. When I called Landmark, I got through to a person quickly and the person was personable and clear with next steps. The company they contracted with was solid and Landmark seems to have read the notes I submitted in a form they sent. I'm pleased so far with their service.

As Contractors, we worked with LANDMARK before they sold out...or went under. They would pay 20.00 for a ceiling fan...TWENTY DOLLARS! You can't BUY them for twenty dollars and IF you could we would NEVER install something that below standard OUR Customers homes! We dumped them a long time ago. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR LIST!

I called Landmark for a rekey of my newly purchased home. Norm's Lock & Key was recommended. He reworked the existing dead bolt so house key would work in the garage service door. Norm was polite and did a good job. I guess I misunderstood how this home warranty works, as Landmark charges $65- per service call and Norm charged $49- to rekey dead bolt

Really great! I had my water heater go out on me. It was 9.5 years old so I wasn't too surprised, but still stressed. Luckily Landmark covered it since it had gone out due to no fault of my own. I was given a contractor who ended up not being able to make it within 24 hours. (I didn't want to deal with a cold shower for 5 days). I told them my situation and they were able to get someone out that same day.

I had a contract/ plan with Landmark and it suddenly was cancelled. without any warning or notification. I was refunded a monthly payment, but never asked or was notified that it was being cancelled. when I tried to contact them, they were too busy. luckily i had no claims in the past year or recently but not too thrilled about the lack of communication. I have been really happy with Landmark. We have made multiple claims over the past couple of years for a running toilet, broken fridge fan, broken garage door and pest control and they have all been covered. Submitting a claim and getting service has been really easy. We renew each year - the value is there even if you simply get your ACs serviced for the season!
