Landmark’s coverage varies by state. Furthermore, there are two plan categories depending on the customer's situation.

The Homeowner Plan is for those who have already owned their house for 30 days. The Real Estate Plan is for new home purchase. The following details regarding coverage and pricing will be examples of the Homeowner Plan.

Like the service fee, Landmark's yearly premium for its Homeowner Plans varies by state.

In Utah, Oregon, and Idaho, choosing the $100 service fee will produce a $350 premium for the Home System Plan, and a $600 premium for the Total Protection Plan. If you were to opt for the $60 service fee, this would increase the Home System Plan premium to $400, and the Total Protection Plan to $650.

In Texas, Nevada, and Arizona, the $100 service fee will yield a $360 premium for the Home Systems Plan, and a $610 premium for the Total Protection Plan. Finally, in these states, choosing the $70 service fee will cost $425 for the Home Systems Plan and $675 for Total Protection.

Landmark has an online quote calculator available on their website, for customers who'd like more specifics. If the policyholder chooses to cancel, Landmark offers a 30-day, full money-back guarantee, with the exception of a $40 administration fee.

If I could do a zero rating I would. Landmark claim manager James Hair was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to help with a serious issue that came up yesterday after having my furnace serviced. The contractor that Landmark sent out to my house was fine and friendly however an hour or two after making his repair of the furnace we returned home to find that the entire home smelled of gas making it uninhabitable. I quickly called Landmark to see what they could do to remedy the situation and was told by James that he would try to get in touch with the contractor. This was at about 6 PM. From looking at the contractors website they should have been open another hour and Landmark Claim... Read More

Steven, Landmark appreciates your feedback. We are constantly working to improve our services to all homeowners. Generally, we do not cover for lack of maintenance, mismatched systems, or access though I would be happy to review the details of your claim in hopes of an amicable resolution. After discovering the water heater wasn't working and contacting Landmark, I quickly received an email from them telling me they had contacted a plumber who would be contacting us within a few hours. This was after business hours though. We didn't hear from the plumbing company that evening but they did call around 10 the following morning after I left a voice mail. The company gave me a 3 hour window in which they would be there that same day. I received a call from the plumber when he was heading to the house, as I had requested. The contractor came to the house during the expected window of time that afternoon, fixed the water heater quickly & was both professional and nice.... Read More

Landmark is very easy to submit a claim for service--- they have great followup. Very pleased! We have had to make three claims already after purchasing a new home in June--- all were plumbing issues. They sent two different plumbing companies out to complete the jobs. Both were excellent-- very knowledgeable. Extremely happy with this company!

I scheduled the re-key service online, paid online, called and had the service scheduled with no problem at all, and the re-key service was great. I'm very satisfied.

As a real estate agent, I always recommend Landmark Home Warranty for both my Buyers and Sellers. I have never had a complaint. My wife and I purchased our "retirement" home this summer. There was no question but that we would purchase a Landmark Home Warranty as part of our purchase package. Immediately upon closing we were notified by Landmark of the coverage available to us in our Warranty. Just this last week, the power outlet to our washing machine quit working. Of course, I thought a circuit breaker had been tripped. I did all the things I knew to try to re-establish power, but failed. A quick phone call to a Landmark Home Warranty claims specialist who took the pertinent... Read More

Landmark was fairly good at answering my call, however they did not give me the name of the contractor who is supposed to come and fix my swamp cooler. That company did a terrible job as they had to come out and check my swamp cooler again because it started acting up a couple days after it was fixed. After he came back a second time, it started acting up again just a couple hours later. The warranty place is a pretty good company, but I don't trust the contractors they have worth a lick.

I have had a Landmark Home Warranty for the past four years now. Each time I call, the person who helps me is professional, kind and knowledgeable. They get my claim started quickly and they also follow up after the claim is completed to be sure that I am 100% satisfied. Excellent company to work with!

I have never had worse customer service ever. AC broke they sent out a company that never finished wiring it. After calling LandMark they insisted the AC company did everything right basically I did not know what I was talking about. Odd as they also sent out an electrician that confirmed there was still something wrong with the AC unit, Only after they sent out the 2nd AC company did they find the issue and get it fixed. I find Land Mark to be very unprofessional and rude. Not again with these guys.
