LHG offers customers three primary types of coverage plans: Appliance Guard, Systems Guard, and Total Home Guard. They will also provide completely customizable coverage upon request. With an in-house underwriting team, the company can add or subtract coverage items to tailor the policy to cover their customers’ specific wants and needs. For example, if you don’t have a microwave in the home, or you have two refrigerators, they can make all the necessary changes to get you the coverage you require.

Add-ons include items such as pools and spas, sump pumps, central vacuums, well pumps, septic system pumping, stand-alone freezers, re-keying services, gutter cleaning services, and secondary refrigerators.

Some items may have different cost caps for repairs done to them or for full replacements. Overall, Liberty Home Guard's plans are solid, covering a wide variety of home systems and appliances.

Liberty Home Guard sells month-to-month, annual, and multi-year home warranty policies. Plans start at less than $1 per day—and depending on the current promotion, costs can be even lower. Liberty Home Guard’s service call fees range anywhere from $60 to $125, depending on the type of plan. The company offers discounts for its multi-year policies, providing the greatest value to consumers. Consumers interested in getting a sample quote or applying for a policy can do so on the company's website. Liberty Home Guard does not require consumers to have a home inspection in order to finalize contracts.

Contracts canceled within the first 30-days of the policy are eligible for a full refund. Should a consumer require optional add-ons, LHG will send the consumer a customized contract that includes optional add-on language, and the consumer has 30 days to review that language at no cost as well. In other words, all customers are entitled to a full money-back guarantee during that 30-day period.

Cancellation Policy

Liberty Home Guard customers may cancel their warranty policy at any time.

If canceled between day 31 and day 60 of the policy, the company will refund the full Agreement Cost, minus a $50 cancellation fee and the cost of any claims paid.

If canceled after the first 30 days from the effective date of the policy, the company will refund a prorated refund of the Agreement Cost based on the number of months remaining on the term of the agreement, minus the same cancellation fee of $50 and the cost of any claims paid.

Customers must wait 30 days after enrolling before submitting support claims. However, Liberty Home Guard will project management any issue for its customers, even on day one of enrollment. Project management entitles users to Liberty Home Guard's wholesale discounts on parts, appliances, and labor, and it enables users to have Liberty source their in-network technicians to perform repairs. Also, if a customer has an existing policy with coverage expiring in less than 30 days from the purchase date, Liberty Home Guard will expedite the start date of coverage to overlap with prior coverage.

All service provided by said contractors has a 60-day workmanship guarantee. If the same malfunction happens within that timeframe, customers can file a claim in order to repair or replace the damaged item.

Claims may be filed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Great company. The guy they sent was very knowledgeable and knew straight away what was wrong with our dishwasher. He seemed to know the inner workings of the appliance extremely well. The claim process was hassle free.

I submitted my second claim with LHG yesterday and the experience was phenomenal. The technician came to my home today, with a full replacement for my dryer and had it installed. They delivered on their promise of a 48 hour turnaround on claims. I was definitely skeptical but the proof is there.

Jake got a contractor assigned during our call with him to create the claim. It was such an easy experience, and we sincerely appreciate his efforts in making this possible. Our dishwasher ended up being fully replaced and Liberty’s plan covered it all.

I am so thankful to Liberty Home Guard for standing by their customers and committments. I have been burnt by 4 home warranty companies in the past. My realtor ended up gifting me this one from Liberty and I am thankful he did. They are just such a cut above, I feel as though calling them a home warranty company just doesn’t do them justice. I call them for everything. We wanted an outdoor speaker system installed, I called Liberty and they project managed it for us. I don’t use services like Home Advisor or Angie’s List anymore. I just call the team at Liberty who gets it done for me exactly as I would like.

When I got my house, I knew I wanted to protect it so I did look into this company but I decided to go with a more local company for more local service. I got my <a href="https://www.mesahomewarrantypros.com/">home warranty plan</a> with Mesa Home Warranty. They have been great. My AC broke down in last July when it was 110 degrees. They got it fixed so fast! I love it! I would still highly recommend this company. There we very nice and willing to help so quickly.

Even though we did not really know what exactly the problem was to begin with the plumber arrived fully prepared with all the necessary parts and tools. He did an hour of investigating and found out why water was not running to our dishwasher. Thank you so much for all the help Liberty.

Both the customer service representative (Jasmine assisted us this time) and the service technician were exceptional! We do recommend Liberty Home Guard now to friends and family, and will probably continue doing so as long as they keep coming through..

I have used almost every single home warranty company in the USA, and this is the WORST. They have arbitrary caps on service calls, do not cover labor costs, and their contract cancellation guarantee is a total scam. I have never been this upset over a company in my life. Total absolute scam, horrible company. I cannot write strong enough words against this rip off.

I wanted to give a shout out to Derek who was very helpful not only in getting my claim filled, but getting it expedited. I know he personally appealed to his supervisors Lorraine and Julia to get the claim in a higher priority and three days later a plumber was at my house and he fixed my dishwasher.
