Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

So far the process with Select has been good. Easy to sign up, and the claim we submitted was reviewed and approved quickly. One hangup is that they do not cover some basic maintenance, AKA annual AC maintenance. Overall a good experience so far.

I had 2 policies 1 for our home and one for a 4 plex. About after taking out the polices one of the units in our develop a water leak. Called in to make a claim and was told they would get back to me in less then 3 days. $ days later I was told they do not have plumber in the area? When I signed up I was told the cover the whole U.S.! We are located in a large town here in Arizona. They the told me to find a plumber? Then that evening I was sent a email stating they needed an invoice before they would do anything? I ask who would pay for the extra trip required to provide the estimate? Silents! This is the first time I have had to use my home warranty. The claims representative was very courteous and efficient with gathering information on my dryer. I was told I would receive an email when the claim was approved and the business to conduct service was identified. In less than 10 minutes I received an email with the servicing company, and asked to identify 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice availability times at my convenience. Their efficiency has already subsided my anxiety about not being able to dry my laundry. One quick phone call, melted my "Laundromat Flashbacks" of yesteryear. Thank you
