Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Processing a claim is fast and the hired help came on time and had no problem accessing the roof leak. The patch was professionally done and photos were taken and explanation of everything give with paper work.

On 11/25/18 we signed a contract wirh Select Home. The agents name was Richard. The contact number was 949 541 3347, 458.00 was the ANNUAL FEE with a $45.00 charge PER CALL SERVICE FEE. WE CANNOT REACH ANYONE AT THE LISTED NUMBER ABOVE. PLEASE ADVISE THE STATUS OF THIS COMPANY. ANTHONY A. WOOD

I signed up for this Warranty. After some time my water heater start leaking and I submitted claim which immediately has been rejected. The plan I signed , list water heater as covered, but it did not say, that it cover only selected components and DOESN'T COVER HEATER ITSELF. Really bad experience. False, scam advertising of services.

I sunk my money into this warranty from a list of 4 different companies. I have a dish washer that has been not cleaning properly so I can only rate this one claim. This claim was handled well, the claim rep that came was very friendly and personally really raised my review on SHW.

I was very pleased with how quickly my claim was processed. I called on a Saturday and they had a repairman out Monday. Unfortunately, he was unable to fix it and it needs replacing. I feel the settlement they are giving me is fair.

VERY BAD HOME WARRANTY SERVICES ---- DO NOT BUY My contract show my expire date 10/17/19 when i submitted my claim on 10/15/19, i had to wait for more than 24hrs but no respond from them. I called on 10/16/19 and a claim representative said that my contract already expire last month so my claim does not past thru. I sent them my contract to correct my expiration date so they can open the claim. They said that will take another 48hrs to verify. They said that after it got verify, my contract will still expire when they resubmit the claim so it still not cover. It's their fault that they have the wrong expiration date! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a problem with my pool pump and submitted a form on the wrong property. I have two homes together and one has a pool, the other does not. I had only one contract and submitted on that contract number which was the property with no pool. I received a letter back that denied my claim. After a phone conference and getting the facts right and getting my other contract the pool pump was submitted by the agent and a copy of my contract with that property is being forward to me. The lady was very efficient and helpful with my situation and I'm giving KUDOS to her and Select.
