The sales process is great, they promise you the moon. But the reality afterwards is very different.. When reviewing the policy be aware of 2 items: they require maintenance records + they have repair limits that are very low... I was told I would not have repair limits and the sales rep promised me I had this in my plan but the reality is that he didnt remove section 10.1 of the contract that provides repair LIMITS... So he lied to me and I am now cancelling my plan and moving a plan that doesnt have usage limits. BE AWARE OF SECTION 10.1 of the contract!!!!!!
A kitchen leak is no problem to get fixed. They honored the claim in 5 day which was faster than my previous warranty company on much simpler jobs. They give me a good feeling that when renewal time comes along will happen.
Problematic dish washer that got a jam was zero issue for select to come out and maintain. Pretty glad I found the service, for $400 I really can't go wrong in price and service package. I like this warranty very much it offers some great service.
Strange issue handled with total care from Select home warranty. My air condition was working too good and had to be reprogramed to fix a malfunction glitch. What can i say but thanks for doing a job well done.
This company is absolutely horrible! It is a complete sham! My policy took effect on April 4th, my entire kitchen seemed to breakdown all at once....I called in 4 claims in the end of April/beginning of May....a tech showed up in nice slacks and a polo shirt....looked at the dishwasher and when the lights turned on and he saw water in it...he looked at me and said “it works!”....I said “no it doesn’t.....things get wet but it doesn’t wash or heat up or anything”....he said oh ok...I just get a heating element then. He looked at the microwave and the stove while holding his clipboard and said ok...I’ll order this part and wait for approval from Select. I paid him $135 for 3 derive... Read More
Our staff sent appliance tech gave a good and recommendable service. Parts were easily available and replacement just took under an hour. I give all of my claim a high review. And they also were very clean and on time.
I tested using my warranty recently making my very first claim. The whole process made me secure to know that if anything bigger happens in the future it will be done properly.
Tragic that after 7 years my beautiful ceiling fan motor died. Select without any stress promised a replacement motor and was able to locate one that would work. It took two weeks but the wait was well worth it.
DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY...THEY ARE A SCAM. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
Straight to the point direct company that makes claim requests easy fast and without hassles. I bought a warranty thanks to my older sister and I am glad that I listened to her she was right in taking up their offer.
