Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

STAY AWAY - CANCEL YOUR POLICY, SWITCH TO ANOTHER!! Had this company for 4+yr, claim free. Had an AC issue in Texas (pretty hot, right!) - initiated claim, then for 96+hr, was told a decision would be made in 24-48hr. Well, that never happened. I ended up calling an independent co, who repaired the board. The claim was denied - and Select Home Warranty NEVER INFORMED US! Their chosen repair company did. I understand process, I understand maintenance records - yet the board repair is an electronic piece of equipment - and how does one 'maintain' this?? ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES...WASTE OF MONEY. THEY NEVER HAVE TECHNICIANS AND WHEN YOU GET YOUR OWN, CONVENIENTLY THEY DONT COVER IT.

I requested a morning appointment and they delivered on my schedule. My radiator was giving me a problem and not heating. They figured it out within minutes and changed the valve.

Straight away the plumber that came to my door was very upbeat and went over the shower drain clog. He let me watch him and explained what he saw and drained it out with a special tool. Very clean and any mess he cleaned and disposed of.

Although the representative I spoke with is doing their best to be helpful, your company is doing a terrible job. This is the 3rd call I have had to make to get repairs done. I get excuses and apologies but no repairs. I’m told if I do all the work of finding someone and pay the bill myself, I’ll get reimbursed but apparently getting that reimbursement is a big enough problem to have a particular department on your company menu for people having an issue. So far your company has been a horrendous disappointment and if you don’t step up and get these and any other repairs done, I’m going to cancel my contract and get my money back. I don’t want to pay for a 3 year headache.

I do real estate on the side and always recommend Select because as a customer they are equipped to my standards. Why? Because when you have a broken dryer and rather than repair they replace it, that is pretty awesome to me.

I had a home warranty company before that did not do well in the time department and approval of problems. Select is a complete 180, being very streamlined and easy to work with.
