Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I would be honest; Select Home did not impress me in my first claim. That’s because of the delays I’ve experienced but surprisingly when my pool pump suddenly stopped working. When I called them the second time it was totally different. It became more exciting as I was comparing experience from the first one. The second claim was pretty quick and informative. The pool guy went out the very next day and I am happy for a great improvement of their service. They definitely do better each time. Great job!

About seven months ago, I gave Select home a 3 stars rating only because I haven’t filed my claim yet. Two weeks ago, I had an issue with my gas stove which isn’t heating up. I called them up too file my first claim. The representative is friendly and easy to speak with.  He sent an email with the contractor’s details and when I scheduled the visit, he came out in less than a day. Pretty much happy with the result. I believe Select Home even deserves more than five.

I haven't used the service yet, however my experience with the salesperson and the initial setup was seamless. He was very engaged and took the time to answer my many questions. I was so impressed that I am contacting the company to cover an additional property.

I was very pleased with the attitude and knowledge of the customer service rep that handled my claim. Very professional and courteous. He said the contractor would contact me in a reasonable amount of time, and he even asked and emailed me a copy of my policy. Very efficient.
