Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I recently moved into a home with older appliances and have been worried about how I will repair and replace everything when the time comes. I talked with Jeff at Select Home Warranty and he explained, in detail, how everything works with their home warranty plans. I asked him several questions and he was knowledgeable and confident in the product he was providing. I am confident I will get great service when I'm in need.

I live with my Mom and she is 89 years old a retired professor. She has asthma and often has difficulty in breathing because of her age. In the middle of a very HOT weather in Savannah, our A/C stopped working and when I tried to turn it on again it is only blowing hot air. I was crying when I called Select for an emergency repair. The customer support has gone above and beyond helping me out to find a contractor to come out asap. I was able to find one and did a short repair. Thank you Kate for your help!

I’ve had home insurance in the past and decided to get it again, so I called a few places and found Select was one of the best. Haven’t made any claims yet so further reviews coming; however Kevin gave me a great deal. So far so good!! Reggie

Stay away from this company! I don't know where the good ratings came from but not real customers! I have dealt with a claim for a month and am not closer to resolution than I was just after the claim. Evasive and call back later today are their favorite answers. The technician that was sent at first was HORRIBLE! Did not show up for first appointment and left a black gunky mess on the wall and tracked across the floor when he did finally come. Plumbing problem was same after he was there as before. Now they are indicating I should seek my own service and then ask for their approval. That is not what the contract indicates will happen when a service is needed.

We purchased our home in May 2017. I did a lot of research prior to choosing a home warranty company. I completed an inquiry online with Select and someone contacted me immediately. The representative was so helpful. I have had only positive experiences with Select. I recently renewed our policy and had the privilege of speaking with Adam (extension 5042). He was so pleasant. He even took the time to review my policy to find cost savings. He was so courteous and professional. Select has such awesome customer service and a great staff!

Select home Warranty is the best home warranty out there. Not only do I get prompt and reliable service but I get to deal will very nice and warm customer representatives. You could definitely feel their warmth and willing to help. No , it is under rated, they love their job and it is transferrable with how they deal on the phone. I definitely believe that the front liners of the company will determine whether the company would be reliable. 

I was scared that my house will burn down because of my A/C. My A/C is making an awful noise and it pops the breaker. I called an electrician and they told me that even if they fix the breaker, I still need to have my A/C repaired or it would definitely be dangerous. I called Select Home Warranty and they were honest to tell me that at the moment they were scheduling for next week. I couldn’t wait that long and implored them to listen to my emergency. They had my A/C fixed the next day which was a great relief. Thank you Select for your quick response.
