Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I called with a problem and was shocked at how easy the process was to get the warranty item repaired. the technician arrived promptly. I received a notification of when the tech would arrive and what company answered the call. All communication was simple and efficient; notifications sent when claim accepted and scheduled appointment time. Oddly I had another issue and filed a claim over a weekend. I didn't expect such a quick response. As I did not have a ground level access to the pipe the work was not covered to clean pipe. I had the access point constructed and the line cleared. After my wife and I purchase our home, we wanted to have a little piece of mind knowing that if anything should break ( and they will) we will be covered on repairs. Our washer machine went out and in no time we had a repair over to assessed the damage and called Select Home. They took care of everything minus our cost for the repairman initial visit.

Just when I am going to have visitors this weekend, my oven started acting up on me. The heating level in my oven is not working properly and the lights won’t turn on. So I called up my home warranty early this morning to get some help. They said they will try their best to get someone out today or early tomorrow morning and they did send someone out just an hour ago. They are so quick. Thank you Select Home Warranty.

When my husband passed away, I ended up worrying what I should do if things breakdown in our house.  I am very thankful and appreciative that he did not leave me to just fend for myself.  He got our home a warranty plan.  He took full coverage for our home.  I had nothing to worry about.  All I need to do is call up Select Home Warranty and they will send out the most capable repairman/contractor/plumber to help me out.

I put in claim about 8 months ago because my AC is blowing hot air. When the technician came out, he said that my unit is a bit old and a part is needed. I had an experience with the previous warranty I got that old units wasn’t covered by the warranty. But with Select Home it was totally different. The tech ordered the part and installed it. My Ac was repaired within 24 hours.  Great job from Select Home and thank you for your contractor.

I’ve got a rental property and my own home. I have been thinking of getting home warranty to make sure that I’m ready when things did not go well. So I made my own research and found great deals with Select Home. I decided to get 2 for plans and get the best coverage for both. Price is pretty much a good deal and so far the best I got from shopping around. When I filed a claim for my washer and dryer and it was smoothly processed. The tech who diagnosed it did a job well done. Customer support was good. I’m happy to be with Select Home.

I have had a terrible experience with our AC unit. It was freezing up. I called Select Home Warranty for a service repair. When I dialed the number I reached the customer support and I was able to file my claim. They gave me options for the local contractors and I can decide whether who to deal with. This is why I liked to be with Select Home because they will give you options and they make sure that you get the best. The contractor who came out was able to get it back up and running. Great experience!

My Central air unit is blowing only hot air on recent heavy humid 95 + days. So far I was emailed only 1 company & they clearly told me they’ve never participated with “select home warranty “ so they’re not sure why I was calling them. I called “Select” company to inform that they gave me someone who has never been subcontracted out from them.. I was then told “ we cannot find anyone to pick up the hvac job in your area. “ It’s been 4 days now. They’ve STILL sent me no one nor called me with what happens next..,Should I find & call a random hvac provider ?? Now I found out there’s a CAPPED AMT of $150 if there’s no maintenance record . When I bought my house in Connecticut, the family I bought it from already has Select Home. Then I realize it is easier for them to pull up my records if I needed repairs. I did my research just to double check if my appliances are covered with the right company. I saw their pricing and I can’t complain either.  One time I saw leaks in my room from the roof. I called Select and they took care of it. Very fast and reliable service. I’m glad I stick with them.
