Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Most additions to my house have been covered with this warranty have been covered without any hassle to me. They told me they were not able to fix two things and those things we worked out an agreement where they would send me $100 toward external repair costs. It was fair- I just hope in future they are able to deal with these things directly.

My kids were playing in the sprinklers when one of them found a spot they told me that was gushing water. I went out and saw that something appears to have broken the pipe. I added extra insurance covering sprinklers and it was well worth it. They came and they patched it in two days.

I am very dissatisfied with the service I am receiving. I submit a claim on 3-14-18 and it is now 4-5-18 and no service provided. I have contacted you several times about the same claim but continue to get the run-around and same generic answers about sending me and email with service provider and if they do not contact me within certain time frame to call them to set up service or contact you for assistance but nothing every happens. I continue to ask to be given another service provider, one that can actually come out before 2 month waiting time, but you don't take care of the situation so I have to keep calling back and get the same B.S. This is ridiculous

My two kids had first found that the toilet kept overflowing. We were stuck only with one toilet in the house. The claim was quick and pleasant. The flusher was found to be defective and the drain pipe was rotted. The claim rep showed me this and did a nice job replacing it all.

For a service warranty company they cover quite a few issues. The things I have repair service tickets made for were a fault fuse in the electric box and a creeky noise in my refrigerator that was very odd. All handled in a professional manor I'd recommend.

The property I own is over 4000sq ft. It would be such a pain to handle everything myself and with rising home costs for repair I decided to try a warranty. This is the first warranty I ever owned and I made a couple claims and my feeling is its good for non emergency problems that can wait up to a week for repair. Where they shine is value for the money.

Since my son moved out I have had a harder time with maintaining my property. Select has offered me a fair deal and I have how just completed a claim which was easy and straight forward on my water heater!

This is the worst home warranty company out there. I have been a customer of 2 home accross the country and Select is by far the worst. Pay attention to section 9.1.2 which states that they don’t pay for installation of parts. They may pay for parts after a very long adjudication process (3 wks for my dishwasher part) and then leave it up to the local appliance repair company to fix at there install price. They also contract with some questionable small businesses that have a n unproven track record. I have canceled my policy and will be looking elsewhere if at all. BUYER BEWARE!!

Would it not be for Select's awesome service staff I would have had still been without electric in my family room. The leak in the roof caused a short which burned out a wire. It was a easy to handle ordeal that took two days. They hired an electric company and a roofer and both did great work.

On a Saturday my central vacuum died and I had to make a service call claim. I called up the number and had to wait 20 minutes on hold. When I finally got someone I was told that the soonest they could have someone for me was Tuesday. I accepted as long as it was after work. The motor died and I had to wait for a reorder of the part and now have it installed.
