Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

We started our service with Select around a year and a half ago. Not really any problems with my appliances in my apartment other than an issue with the digital display on the microwave being blank. This claim was taken and a company came and installed the part. If I have any more issues I will let you know.

The 24 hour period I waited and the resolution of said failure of my freezer were better than average. The service technician took special care to make sure my food did not all defrost and get ruined.

Very please in the last SHW experience. Our HVAC was not cooling and the contractor that was sent was very easily able to fix and get things back on track.

The contractor was very timely and worked for two hours until the job was done. He also came back on a follow up to repair another problem I was having. What I liked is he went back without even asking to make sure his first job was still working. Wonderful!

Don't walk, RUN away from this warranty company. I got sucked into getting it because they kept lowering the trade fee. Ok. I bought a house and called them to get coverage. "Is the A/C covered?" "Yes, sir, it is". Great. So about 4 months later my A/C went out. Living in Florida, you NEED A/C. So I called them. They sent a guy out to check it out. The furnace motor was bad. He called Select and was told it's not covered. So I called Select. Why not? "Sir, you must provide 3 years worth of maintenance records for it to be covered". "But I just bought the house. Signed up in November, agent told me leaks and full replacements are covered in their platinum plan. I have a recorded conversation with the agent with her confirming this information. Had the tech call in, their systems were all of a sudden 'down' and even called back in after he replaced it/submitted the bill after they said I could use my own tech because theres were too busy. Stay away they screwed me out of 1500 dollars in reimbursements

Run from this company!!! They are a scam!! They will not pay for repairs. Read reviews on websites they are not affiliated with and you will see for yourself. So many people have been scammed by this company including me. I will give a 1 star only so this will post.

Kind of on a budget and thats why I have a warranty. The sink was leaking around the edge and it was covered that someone came and sealed around the sink. It was a simple job and it was done right.

DO NOT PURCHASE A SELECT HOME WARRANTY!!! MY DOWNSTAIRS HEATING UNIT IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. THE TECH THAT CAME OUT TOLD ME I NEEDED A NEW THERMOSTAT. SAID HE HAD TO GET AUTHORIZATION BECAUSE MY UNIT "HAD NOT BEEN PROPERLY MAINTAINED". (WHEN I SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT I WAS ASKED WHEN THE UNIT WAS LAST SERVICED, I TOLD THEM I DID NOT KNOW. SO THEY KNEW THIS FROM THE START) WAITED 2 DAYS WITH NO RESPONSE CONCERNING THE THERMOSTAT. I CALL SELECT AND THEY TELL ME THEY WON'T REPLACE THE "HEAT EXCHANGE".
